Jordan Toft

Jordan’s career began in the Sydney Opera House kitchen in 1997. Moving to Europe in 2006, Jordan ran a luxury chalet in France and became a personal chef. Travelling Europe and the USA, he developed an appreciation for the simplest and freshest ingredients. In 2014 Jordan joined Merivale as executive chef of Coogee Pavilion. Jordan then joined The Newport team, led the launch of Bert’s and The Collaroy, all a reflection of Jordan’s talent for balancing refinement, simplicity and innovation.

Great atmosphere, excellent service, sizeable portions and very high quality and delicious food. Menu a little limited, bread would be adequate. Wine and drinks list extensive. Very expensive overall, but quite reasonable with the happy hour.

Absolutely fabulous, excellence all round. Note they occasionally have a half prices drinks happy hours before 7:00pm some nights. Worth checking.

Hanger steak and whole fish are great for sharing in groups!! Service was great and all the interiors were gorgeous.

Probably the best steak I've ever tasted...(400g Rib Eye). Staff were super attentive and polite.

We were slightly unhappy with an entree and the waitress found a way to "compensate" us without asking. I thought it was service beyond the norm. Our mains - fish dishes plus a vegetable dish were "tens." Will definitely be back. Its exactly what is needed in this area of the Northern beaches.

What great space. This time the rump cap steak and seafood pasta were great. Last time the Sea Urchin pasta was fantastic. Also love the drinks offering (incl cocktails).
