This is one of my very favorite restaurants, the staff are friendly, the food is always excellent. I know it's not the cheapest place to eat but here you get what you pay for and more. Love the snails they bring as a complimentary nibble to start

Luckily there was a free council carpark nearby because all the street parking is full. The Patisserie Cocotte in Top Ryde is great too.

Fantastic service, kids meals came out straight away. The kids fish was samon and not deep fried - great kids meal. Really flavourful french dishes, generous portions.

About Bistro Cocotte

Ah Paris, the city of love. Wouldn't it be nice if you could just teleport there whenever you chose? Well, seeing as that technology is a few years off, we’ve got a venue that can help cure your French cravings. Bistro Cocotte is an elegant French restaurant that is serving fine French cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy croque madame with fried duck egg for le petit dejeuner, duck confit for lunch and a steak tartare for din dins. They also hold frequent ‘themed nights’ (eg: Truffle Night) which are definitely worth a look in. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing meal with friends, family or work mates. Bon appetit. Best dish: confit pork belly with honey apple puree, braised red cabbage, fig and chestnut.
