The staff provide really good service all the time and the food was yummy and worth for money. Great french cuisine. Highly recommended!

We came here for my birthday and I was quite disappointed. The food wasn’t terrific and the service was ok but we certainly didn’t feel like we were well looked after or even wanted. I know it was a public holiday but it was clear the staff didn’t want to be there and the place really lacked atmosphere. We probably won’t be back.

Innovative, light spin on some classic French dishes, best Creme Brûlée we have ever tasted (including in Paris), terrific service and views of the river

The mashed potato is the best I’ve ever had except unfortunately on this occasion it came out like warm and quickly cooled to stone cold within 5 minutes. The staff are lovely but due to thick accents it is difficult to understand pretty much all of them. We had to ask multiple people to explain certain dishes to us and still could not understand and so had to just choose with no real information. Reverted to Instagram for photos but sadly there are hardly any photos on the Instagram and so couldn’t work out exactly what our meat order was going to be like. Lovely atmosphere. The meat options aren’t very good. Chewy type meats. They used to have an amazing beef cheek 2 years ago. It was the best thing on the menu and sadly has not made a comeback. I probably wouldn’t dine here again unless I had to due to nothing really that special other anymore than the mash potato.

This was a Valentines day without being on Valentines day. Shame about the weather, it managed to go down to around 12 degrees, but we were inside which was still cool. Service was efficient, staff engaging and actually came from France (love the accent), food was the real French deal, beautiful crusty bread and butter, terrine, onion soup (perhaps a little sweet for my liking), mussels and frites, rump steal with Roquefort sauce with frites, green salad. Well presented, timely and given the location and ambience reasonably priced at $138. The wine pushed the total up a bit with a Heathcote Shiraz. Enjoyed this restaurant and it would be terrific in the summer outside by the river.
