Fabulous
Good food and wine for people who enjoy the French influence as we did. If you like to dine in a very busy atmosphere then this place will suit - it was a little too noisey for us! Service was also a little erratic particularly with wine top ups from your bottle which gets hidden away somewhere! Couldn’t fault food though ????
My order was wrong. I received pork instead of chicken. My wife’s dish was served. The side dish and my incorrect dish were taken away. So my wife ate without me. Her gnocchi was ok - nothing special. My chicken was very flavoursome. The broth was a little too salty. The side dish of charred broccoli was ok. The wine list by the glass was very ordinary. To their credit I received many apologies and was not charged for my main course. Unfortunately we are not persuaded to return.
The Bistro was friendly & informative regarding specials on the menu etc.. The staff did their best to accomodate our needs. Our waitress was friendly & attentive during our meal.
Perfect venue that never disappoint
The food did not seem to be up to usual standard as was the service.
Fantastic food, champagne and service!
We had the express lunch, which was excellent value. The pepper steak was not available and substituted by a chicken dish, which turned out to be the highlight of the meal. The staff were friendly and, as it was my birthday, we were presented with a macaroon with a candle on a plate decorated with a birthday message. A very enjoyable lunch.
Food was well executed in general and service was cordial and efficient. There was an issue of mice (small) in the outdoor area and we were moved inside. Apparently they come from the river we were told.
Great French cuisine. Tasty, fresh, authentic with beautiful modern Parisienne decor. Stunning restaurant with really friendly staff. The Gnocchi Parisienne is a must!
Nice dishes. Service isn’t bad too. I was supposed to receive a birthday drink and birthday cake with my Crown membership but they did not give them to me at the end.
Horrible experience with the wait staff. The mains and sides were very disappointing. Our food and drinks were cleared before we were eveb finished. We were in complete shock. Will not be returning again after being a very regular customer. A real let down.
I’ve had dinner here a few times, but last night was not amazing and for the dishes I got overpriced. I’ve always had the charcuterie but this time it was just a couple of slices of sliced cold meats.... no terrine or paté! Which I was expecting! I had the mussels but the chips that came with it were burned to a crisp. We had to ask for our bread. And I had quite a few broken shells in my mussels and the buttery sauce had nothing fresh to it. All and all I wasn’t very impressed and won’t be going back anytime soon.
Bistro never disappointments me! We had a beautiful Sunday Champagne Lunch to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary . Thank you to lovely Rosie, who was so courteous and very a helpful waitress. Thank you for the beautiful dessert surprise ... two maroon and acknowledgement for our special day. Can not wait to return for our Birthdays!
I am a repeat customer, on arrival the menu had changed, the food I ordered was very ordinary and extremely expensive. I expect a lot better.

Monsieur Guillaume
Inspired by France's most popular neighbourhood bistros, Bistro Guillaume stands proudly between esteemed Nobu and Long Chim in Melbourne's Crown complex. This beautiful restaurant will transport you to the city of love, with the large zinc topped bar, timber Venetians, parquet flooring and outdoor terrace creating a very special dining space. Bistro Guillaume features a plat du jour daily and is equally accommodating for solo diners such as hotel guests as it is for families, small groups and couples alike. The menu is extensive and features a grand spread of French dishes, with everything from escargots to steak frites. Make sure you save room for dessert as the profiteroles and vanilla bean creme brulee are seriously good. This award winning restaurant has all the charms of Paris, and more!
Best dish: Toulouse Sausage and Haricot Beans.
