Food quality was good. Just the beef tartare was a bit too tart (sour) as it was missing this creaminess you get from mustard and egg yolk you normally get with beef tartare. The meat was cut in different sizes which is fine, but when there is 1-2cm cubes inside, the portion of seasoning to meet is not proportionate. The double baked cheese soufle was overcooked on the inside and have separated with the taste / grainy texture of scrambled eggs. The only thing I could eat was the crust. The best dish was the onion soup. Hit all my tastebuds and expections. Thanks again
Delicious food especially the terrine and passion fruit soufflé!! Will definitely be back!
Great service by very professional and friendly staff. We arrived at a very busy time but received our order quite quickly. The food was great and the Bordelaise sauce with my steak was very special.
Ambience comforting whilst still elegant. A good business lunch or family gathering venue. For city workers could be a quick bite at reasonable prices when a sandwhich won't do.
Great food and nice atmosphere
Wonderful food, really lovely atmosphere- busy and bustling but also quiet and private - excellent and attentive service. Would definitely go again
Excellent service and their steak is cooked to perfection.... not to mention the soufflé and their beautifully crafted tartlet to end the meal! Fantastic value for money. would definitely come back again.
Really really good food, especially the 1kg Wagyu - must try! Dessert was very yummy. This place has very traditional French food in luxury surroundings. I will come back soon.
Had an amazing night thank you so much food was sublime as were the wines and lovely attentive service. Gorgeous decor too we will be back for more French delicacies xx
We enjoyed our lovely French bistro experience. The food was well presented and delicious. Service and ambiance were both excellent. Highly recommend.
I was looking forward to trying out Guillaume’s newest Sydney venture and the food did not disappoint. The steak tartare was perfection and the dessert soufflé absolutely devine. In terms of customer service, Serving staff (staff that served the food) were polite and friendly, while the Table Waiting (hosting the table/order) staff was scattered, untimely and quite rude. Overall, would come here again for the food!
Everything about this restaurant is outstanding, except for this evening when the service was somewhat slow. Not sure why because the restaurant was not full. The sommelier took our wine order promptly, but the problem was getting our waiter to take our food order. After waiting for a long time we finally called him over. Once we had ordered, our entrées and mains the food arrived beautifully presented and promptly. He did refill our water glasses very regularly. But, once we had finished our mains it took him forever to come over and take our dessert order. Finally had to call him over. Despite this, we will be back because the food is outstanding.
Its been a while since I had a chance to come back to this great place and i think its just gotten better. Still superb food across the menu. Everything is made with passion clearly.
Pleasant welcome and efficient and precise hospitality- not too over the top “friendly” but not cold either. Simply professional and as it should be. True French cuisine superbly presented
Loved loved loved the grilled octopus!!! And the passionfruit soufflé was absolutely devine!
Really enjoyed the food. The portion sizes for the entrees are quite big. Had the steaks for the mains. We had a variety of sauces to choose from. Good if you are going with a group of people. Some of the dishes are shareable.
Oysters were dry - clearly not fresh shucked as advertised. Overall quality was still good. Good service and atmosphere. Profiteroles are definitely a highlight!
Wonderful night. The steak was beautifully cooked and very tender. The passionfruit soufflé was delicious.
The food was amazing and service exceptional! Wonderful place to celebrate that special occassion. Even better with The Fork's 50% discount.
Fantastic service. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Sydney branch is more refined than the Melbourne branch.

Guillaume Brahimi is a name synonymous with fine, French food in Australia. With his Sydney eatery, Bistro Guillaume, he invites you to experience a Paris getaway right here in Sydney. He wants you to linger and let day turn into night, as the Parisians would. The setting is luxe and the atmosphere vivacious - nothing short of what the French would expect. It evokes memories of a rainy day in France, when you ran into a local Bistro and enjoyed steak with frites and a creamy, béarnaise sauce.
Peruse the menu which reads like a French cookbook: oysters with vinaigrette, onion soup and terrine. Duck à l’orange, mussels served with chips and, bien sûr, snails are all there. Soufflé, profiterole and crème caramel too. All you have to say is ‘oui’.
