    We had a fantastic dinner! We had the $55 chef tasting menu and everything was delicious!!! I’d definitely go back and order the same. PLUS their Aperol Spritz was brilliant!!

    I cannot recommend this place enough! The service was incredible, the food was amazing and the value for money was unbelievable!! I can’t recommend the chefs menu (valued at $55/ per head) enough. My partner and I had a delicious meal there, and it was so lovely to go to a restaurant that had such a clear menu that included whether foods contained dairy, nuts or gluten. As my partner has a severe dairy allergy we were thrilled to have it so easy to check!! And majority of the menu defaulted to being dairy and nut free :) We were so full of yummy foods, and our waitress was so lovely and took her time explaining the menu and even swapping things around for us based on our preferences. We’ll be coming back!!

    I find it very rare these days to find the combination of excellent food, staff service and staff knowledge of their product. Black Fire excelled in all areas, was a hidden gem we found, but will be back! Great food, service and atmosphere- outstanding, thank you team Black Fire on Albert Brisbane!

    The food & service was amazing! We ordered the Chef’s tasting plate which I would highly recommend. The only small negative is that the room was really noisy which made it hard to talk.

    Service was amazing. Staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was a problem. Starters were very generous and highlight of the meal. Steaks were good but not great. Red wine jus was more of a red wine gravy so was a miss for me. My partner had the horseradish with her steak which I ended up using half as it was very good. Too full for desert so cant comment on that.

    Looking for a Steak in Brisbane on a Sunday night proved difficult happy with discovery of Black Fire and the Chef Tasting Plate a great option. Will definitely return.

    Where do I start.. wait staff just didn’t care at all. Service was terrible. The bar tender seemed to be the only one working. He came out and serviced our table after seeing we were being ignored. Service is key. If you want to run a business with untrained staff or an understaffed restaurant then you won’t get return business. f Meals took so long to come out and where underwhelming. Overall so disappointed and for the price it’s not worth it at all. No air con. Mentioned the restaurant was hot and the response I got was “the air con is on you’re all just breathing too much. That’s why it’s hot”. Seriously??? When the meals came out, your great bartender was pouring our wine and your rude waitress said to him in quite an aggressive tone “move out of the way”. Seriously? How about she waits. If she was doing her job right, he wouldn’t have needed to be at our table pouring drinks. I won’t return and I’ll be sure to make sure I do not recommend this terrible restaurant. What a waste of money.... clearly zero direction from management.

    The food was amazing, beautifully presented and authentic Spanish flavours. Our waiter was very informative about the food, where it was sourced, Spanish history and the food. We had the banquet and it was huge. After 3 delicious entrees we then had a melt in the mouth lamb shoulder, rump steak and sides - we were defeated. We will definitely be back.

    The staff were lovely and so was the food. We all had a lovely evening and enjoyed not being pushed out the door at closing time. Quiet night but great service

    Food was great, hit the spot! Had the wagyu pasta and wife had the fish. Pasta was al dente and sauce was fantastic. Fish was perfectly cooked and tasty! Staff were welcoming and courteous, meeting expectations. Setting doesn't feel lux but caters for the lunch special crowds and the serious diners alike. Parking is actually available for $15 at Capri for diners, which would have been handy info on their website.

    First time at Black Fire. Booked as not many other restaurants open on a Monday evening. Pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Good service and great food.

    This was our second trip to Blackfire and certainly will not be our last, from the start the service was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble and the food was to die for, also they have the best Sangria outside of Spain.
