Fabulous Food and good service.... will certainly return for these alone. If the atmosphere was more Spanish themed it would be perfect.

It was a terrific food experience during our visit with friends to Canberra, with great food- in quality and quantity! welcoming atmosphere, excellent service and of course we came for the Spanish flavours in the meal and the wine - and we got them!

Sangria is very expensive. Food was above average but not out of this world. For the price I would expect more.

I have been to Blackfire a few times and enjoyed the Chef’s tasting menu each time. This time the second course was quite slow to come out and the meat a little dry. I think because it was sitting on the servers for a little too long. There was also crab shell in the stuffed peppers. Not a world disaster but could have been better. The kitchen seemed a little slow that night. Great wait service.

Customer service was lacking for a more expensive restaurant. It was difficult to get the wait staff's attention even when only people in the restaurant.

About Black Fire

“Fuego negro!” Black Fire offers an exciting and innovative take on Mediterranean cuisine. Their dishes are wonderfully well thought-out and presented, inspired by their culture and their love of cooking. Meats, seafoods and vegetables are cooked through an open fire roast. This is the highlight of their meals - it’s incredibly authentic and unique. Located in Braddon, Black Fire is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner so it is perfect for any occasion. Best dish: Arroz Caldoso - King prawns with saffron and pimenton.
