Would not go back. Dishes were confused, no balance of flavours, under seasoned. Ingredients lacked quality. Wine by the glass was old.

Disappointing. Anaemic potatoes and generally low flavour food. Shame as the menu sounded delicious.

The food, drinks and atmosphere were wonderful. Took my partner for his birthday dinner and we were both thoroughly impressed.

Service: each staff member who we interacted with was friendly and professional, everyone was very warm and welcoming. Food: amazing! Can bot fault. My partner and i got the chefs tasting samples and the food was all delicious and flavoursome. Each dish was served at the right temperature as we received cold and hot dishes. Each dish was great portion sized considering how much food was served and all well presented on the plate. The food its self i can not fault, the suckling pork and lamb was the beat by far. Value: excellent value. You pay good money for good quality food and service.

Black Fire Restaurant has been on our bucket list for a while, as every time we would walk past the restaurant the aromas were so tantalising. We recently dined at Black Fire to celebrate a special occasion and unfortunately we are sad to say that the experience was extremely underwhelming. Overall the food lacked flavour, was under seasoned and the meat was so severely over-cooked that it was unrecognisable in both texture and taste.

About Black Fire

“Fuego negro!” Black Fire offers an exciting and innovative take on Mediterranean cuisine. Their dishes are wonderfully well thought-out and presented, inspired by their culture and their love of cooking. Meats, seafoods and vegetables are cooked through an open fire roast. This is the highlight of their meals - it’s incredibly authentic and unique. Located in Braddon, Black Fire is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner so it is perfect for any occasion. Best dish: Arroz Caldoso - King prawns with saffron and pimenton.
