This is the third time we have been to this hotel. Last two times we brought or met friends and family there. Everyone in our group over the last two times has loved it. That's the reason we invited them, because we loved it the first time. Definitely one of our favourite pubs. Even though it's an hour and a half for us and further for some of our group yesterday. Nobody minded the travel.Food is the best.

This was a trip down Memory Lane for us, having been there 25 years ago around this time of year. We travelled for 1H 37M to get to the venue, but it was a delightful drive through tall-tree forest and bushland to get there. The menu lists a diverse range of choices, so there is something there for almost everyone. Our choices for starters and mains were cooked and presented perfectly by chefs who know exactly what they're doing, and most of what they do is prepared in-house from scratch. Their wine list contains a comprehensive range of wines by the glass (or bottle) at reasonable to good value prices, including some from local wineries. Not for El-Cheapos, but hey, this is a venue for living it up a little!

Excellent food, top notch steak and first class seafood starter, we assumed this would be pub grub but it was way beyond that, everything cooked and presented to perfection. Not cheap but very good value considering the excellent quality (grain fed aged 300g wagu steak $42 incl sides).

I wish I had the toast. I had a seafood sharing plate for 2 (had for one) and was very small. Needed chips to fill me up! Limited wine menu if you want just a glass. Service was good. Atmosphere was lovely by the fire. Would go back.
