Super busy with Xmas crowd. Food was average. Barely any dressing on Caesar salad. Kept cranking up volume on cheesy Xmas tunes to point where everyone looked around wondering what was going on. Made talking impossible
Service was ok. Food a bit on the expensive for pub quality food, but the view is nice. Good portion sizes. Nice casual relaxed place. The music was too loud though and it was hard to hear each other talk.
I organised a 30th Birthday to be held at BlackBird on 5/12/2020. The food was average and the facilities (toilets) were not cleaned at all. The service was worse! We had to constantly walk over to the bar to get a waiter to bring us our menus and ordering was terrible. The waiter only took half of the tables order and I had to walk back to the bar to ask them to come back and take the rest of the tables orders. We had to also ask the waitress 4 times to bring us the bill. Would not recommend
Have been here before but this time was total disappointment. Put right at the back of restaurant, which we thought wouldnt be a problem but it meant terrible service, Chasing staff to take our orders then they were lost, Waited half an hour for drinks. Bought friends that had never been before and came on our recommendation. Embarassing and very disappointing. Prob wont be back
.
Excellent service. Excellent food. Excellent location
There was a school formal at the venue which we were not told about and we were sat at a table near the entry at the back. When I asked for a different table we were shoved in a corner inside. We left before they took our order ... won’t go back
Very lovely staff! Good place to hang out on COVID days
Include more gluten-free/vegan food on the menu and get more cocktails - you used to be really good!!! Thankyou for having a good atmosphere though.
The bacon was over cooked to the point it just snapped. The eggs Benedict was flavourless and had lettuce on the side that was wilted and no dressing. No sign of chia seeds at all. The coffee was burnt and didn’t drink it.
The staff were extremely polite and accommodating; we were moved to a table with an excellent balcony view and he was able to answer all of our questions. It was disappointing that the full range of cocktails provided on the website were not on offer but the arancini balls were delicious!
Horrible service. Took forever for them to take our order and didn’t respect our booking time.
Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Great location. Food was excellent.
Unfortunately the food was very disappointing . Flavorless, watery Bolognese Ragu, and very bland creamy fettuccine Alfredo. The steak and the salmon were cooked to perfection but the red wine sauce was really disappointing lacking in any flavor , and the sauce for the salmon tasted of mayonnaise and nothing else . The place was virtually empty but drinks were forgotten twice. A couple of the waiters were very friendly . Unfortunately we won't be back unless they improve the quality of their cuisine .
The food was not worth the price. Paid $38 for chicken and a basic salad with some dressing. I would have expected that they would upload the restricted new menu because I was disappointed at the choices
The waitress was friendly. The atmosphere was good
Service not good and restaurant (not to mention the toilets) not very clean. A bit of renovations will be welcome! Otherwise the food was correct.
Fantastic service and excellent food. Definitely worth going! The steak was cooked perfectly, the chips were a little salty but great balance of flavour
Nice cocktails. Reasonable price.
The male waiter who was working last night is always amazing greets us with a smile and friendly chat every time. Nice drinks and view ???? Recommend this place
