Samuel Cole originally from Wollongong, Australia is only 31 years old with a professional career of over 14 years panning over 5 countries and luxury super yachts. Samuel has worked in 3 hat restaurants and 2 michelin star restaurants abroad. Outside the kitchen he has spent 10 years of his life travelling to enjoy food and cultures around the world. The surf and travel loving chef has now returned to his home country Australia to show his experiences in food and culture.

The food at Blanca is always outstanding but the new tasting 7 is their best yet. Packed with flavours but still fresh and light. They have an excellent cellar with both local and imported stock. The venue is understated and casual and the service is efficient but unintrusive, fun and friendly.

we loved the service and the food was great. My partner wasnt so much of a seafood fan so he wasn't wowed by the experience however I loved most of the combinations of Mediteranean and Japanese.

The food was absolutely incredible so hats off to the chefs. I just felt that although the service was friendly enough they simply didn’t have the training to a high enough level to match the food and price point. If that could be improved the restaurant would really hit the next level.

After coming here once already, this second time reaffirmed that Blanca is one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney. The food was delicious, service was on-point, and the decor & atmosphere is cool and modern (but not wanky). Definitely recommend trying the set menus for value, and the soft shell crab bao is a must!

10 course degustation was fabulous. Everything was delicious. Full of a flavour. Highly recommend Blanca. Oysters weee fresh, soft shell crab black buns were amazing! Simply the best. Definitely would revisit this place very soon.

Did the tasting menu and it was just the right amount of very delicious food. What was also such a stand-out is that they bent over backwards to change things for people who didn't eat certain foods, and volunteered it rather than doing so begrudgingly. Inventive and delicious all around, with top notch service.
