The Blu Bar was a fantastic experience and great value for money, I booked the 'Trust the Chef' menu and requested a window table and Blu Bar did not disappoint on either count! Amazing view and the food was superb. Can't wait to go back!

By booking on The Fork, was seated at the best table! Fantastic location but short staffed and only one bartender for a cocktail lounge- drink service very slow. We had the chefs choice tapas, and surprised with the Chinese New Year menu- dietary requirements well sorted! Expensive but worth it! Overall lovely experience with no expectations to leave by a certain time….

Had an amazing night celebrating my sons 21st birthday. The service, food, cocktails and atmosphere was fantastic. Will definitely be dining there again. Special thanks to Jay for making our night a memorable one.

Always great to come to blu bar! I accidentally booked a dinner and they were were accommodating when we clarified that we only wanted to have a few drinks. Service as always is impeccable! 100% recommend!

The food, service and atmosphere was excellent and we had such a good time BUT came to pay the bill and we had to pay by credit card, didn’t except cash and I had to pay a Credit card fee of $5:70 which I’m not very happy about!!

If you’ve booked via the fork for the food festival, don’t expect a discount. They will charge you full price. Overall quite nice, service was great. We were charged $95 per person and NOT the promotion price of $85.

The food exceeded our expectations, and the views were beautiful. We had a table by the window. Service started poor, but improved significantly so that it was very attentive.

The 90 minutes limited afternoon tea we had included sparkling wine, was basically 3 plates with the majority of sweet yet quality mouth tinglers. The view over the harbour is great. The Hotel compared to my last visit 10 years ago lost its spark and looks slightly outdated. The overall experience we had did not justify the price of 221 dollars for two that included a 15 % Sunday and 1.5 % credit card surcharge. We went home for a early dinner. Not worth a revisit.

The ambiance is unquestionably amazing, the food is quite well. However, we were being rushed for the last drinks and for the bill. The booking is for 2 hrs and they have taken the last drink orders and brought the bill approx around 1:15th.. Also were charged %15 sunday service fee which is not mentioned during the reservation or in any of the emails coming from Fork.

Best High tea experience in Sydney, large selection of savoury & desserts and as many cocktails as you want. The wait staff are amazing, always courteous & friendly. Nice vibrant atmosphere with the best views of Sydney harbour. We’ve been to Blu bar & Altitude 3 times now & we always look forward to returning. Well done to everyone at Blu Bar, Altitude & Shangri-La! :)

The HIgh Tea at the Blu Bar is a real treat. Be sure to book in advance as it is very popular and only available mainly on weekends. You are welcomed with a glass of bubbles, then offered your selection of savoury and sweet treats from a buffet where you serve yourself and can go back as many times as you wish. For drinks, there are fruit cocktails, tea, coffee, water and soft drinks. Just tell the serving staff and they will bring it to you. The view is magnificent of the whole Harbour. This is a place to go to celebrate birthdays or just being with a friend.

The views were definitely amazing!!Food was just as good as the unlimited cocktails served.All the staff were pleasant.It was a most enjoyable high tea buffet with my daughter.She enjoyed it just as much by the way.

The High Tea was a wonderful and different experience with the buffet style selection. The views and atmosphere were amazing! The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. My husband and I had a wonderful time and it was a very special birthday treat for myself. I would highly recommend the High Tea experience!

Views were fabulous. Food was good. Service to organise reservation was terrible. 6 x phone calls required to confirm reservation and payment. And when the party arrived they were told there was no reservation for them!

Blu Bar, floating high above the glittering lights of Sydney Harbour, has created a unique, inventive style of cocktail called Liquid Physics, which has serious drink connoisseurs milling around for a masterclass in mixology.

This spot serves serious cocktails by talented bartenders presiding over a sleek space brimming with Sydney-siders and visitors alike. The breathtaking views of the Emerald city's trifecta - The Harbour Bridge, Opera House and harbour lights - enhance the sparkling, shimmering glamour of Sydney's signature destination bar.

Opening Hours:

4pm - 12am, Monday to Thursday

4pm - 1am, Friday

2pm - 1am, Saturday

4pm - 11pm, Sunday

Sunday's and Public Holidays incur a 15% service surcharge.
