9/10We’ve been coming here for years and love everything from the friendly welcome to the fabulous menu. Best recommendation for two: start with the roti and peanut sauce, then share the slow-cooked duck rendang and the leafy green salad with apple, peanut and anchovies. Argue the toss between the pandan crepes with toasted coconut and the coconut cream sago with palm sugar, then order them both. Enjoy!

10/10From the moment we entered we were greeted with a warm friendly smile from a young lady. Service was quick and came with pleasant banter. The food is genuine and authentic Malaysian using fresh produce. The broth Barramundi is a knock out dish I will be returning again for.

9/10This was the first time we had dinner at Blue Chillies. We ordered the Thrice cooked duck and a Nasi Goreng Rice, and both plates were very good. I would really recommend other people to try this place.

10/10The Duck Rendang and Pork Ribs were superbly cooked and absolutely delicious. The Rendang was well flavoured without being overly spicy. The buck was a great substitute for those not eating beef.

10/10The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was really good. The duck bao, soft shell crab, spinach with belachan tasted exactly the same as back home. The nasi lemak unfortunately was not quite up to scratch. It was like it had been sitting in the rice cooker for a while. But everything else was amazing.

3.5/10Visited today, a pretty place but the food terribly lacks freshness (shrimps, vegetables, even the crips!) and savor. We were really disappointed, and didn’t eat two meals out of three… the staff didn’t ask us why. The price is totally unjustified. Avoid it!

In a charming space with dark wood and low lighting, Blue Chillies serves up magnificent Malaysian food. Need a little something to temper the spice? The soothing lounge music, jazz and soul will do it. Or a glass of vino from the appealing wine list. As for the menu, it's a celebration of fresh produce and pick-me-up spices that are delicately used to create balanced dishes. Grab a few friends and pick a selection of dishes to share. You'll be tempted to steal bites off of all the plates coming through the kitchen. Try the fried vegetarian roll with julienned mushrooms, the satay chicken skewers with spicy peanut sauce or the whitebait and sweet potato fritters with chilli lime dipping sauce.
