Sourdough & garlic butter
The location and setting is great, outdoor seats with water view. Price on the pricey side. Large Salt & Pepper Squid for entree was $24.50 and came with a little saucer of mayo. Asked for tartare sauce, it came in slightly bigger saucer, but turns out we were charged $2 for it. If i had known, i’d skip it, cause the tartare sauce wasn’t that good anyway. The lemon dover sole with chips was average.
I had my fiancee's parents in town from Buffalo, New York and they really wanted some good fish and chips and Blue Fish came up as an option. We were really impressed with the service and the food was very good combined with the views of the harbour it was a great experience.
Amazing seafood platter. Nothing deep fried, all just on the grill, fresh and very tasty. Service was nice, opened and cooking till late, also wines were good quality.
Great service and very friendly staff. Went for breakfast and had a good experience. Very happy with our food and will definitely need to try more things from their lunch/dinner menu!
Food was excellent and service was friendly and efficient. Great seafood but not a cheap eat !
The service is terrible - the waiting staff did not even bother bringing the plates in front of us. Instead, he almost threw the plates in front of me and my guests. He forgot my wine, and didn't even offer dessert and coffee/tea menu in the end. Perhaps it was a good idea not to stay any longer. The staff at cashier was equally rude. I took my overseas friends to have dinner there, hoping to enjoy a nice meal with great view. But we were very disappointed with the service and not impressed by their lobster platter.
nice service, food standard drop
I am not sure why I bothered making a booking. I clearly Indicated in the booking that we were there for a birthday celebration and asked for a nice table. There were plenty of tables available but we were shunted off to a dark and uninviting table and promptly ignored. When we did manage to get menus and order the food was not of a standard that I would expect for the price. Great location but that won’t be enough to tempt me to return.
We had a wonderful family birthday dinner at the Blue Fish restaurant and thoroughly recommend and thank you all.
Loved the entree bugs. Can’t get these in NZ
Sea food platter was excellent; maybe too many french fries. Salads were awesome.
always love their platters
Considering what we had felt this restaurant was a tad overpriced.
Platters are a total rip off
We got the giant seafood platter and were really impressed by the variety of both hot and cold seafood. More on the expensive side but definitely worth it! Good service and great views.
Good sea food but a bit expensive, I had a lobster pasta costing 54, not much lobster but more mushroom in it :p
The service was excellent. Didn't wait long after ordering for the meal to come out and the food was amazing.
Beautiful fresh food with great service.
Food was great and outside dining would be better than inside but it was a terribly cold night. Tablecloths would be nice for the prices paid.
Keep up the great service. That’s why I chose you over other seafood joints... online reputation. Perfect night for my 50th. Thanks for keeping your end of the deal.
