About Bollywood RestOBar
Bollywood Blockbuster. Who would have thought an elegant Indian restaurant would be secreted away inside a cinema complex, within a suburban strip of cheap and cheerful fast food outlets? One peek inside Bollywood Rest.O.Bar and you’ll realise dining out in Innaloo has hit a new level. All the glitz, glamour and drama of India’s silver screen is on full display here. With walls covered in full sized images of some of Bollywood’s best loved actors, cosy intimate booths covered in metallic bronze fabrics, bright splashes of fuchsia and glass, and bead decorations in abundance; you could be mistaken for thinking you are on set of the latest Bollywood blockbuster. Start your culinary journey by sampling small bites of onion bhaji (deep fried onions in chick pea batter), aloo tiki (spicy mashed potato patties) or murgh kurkure (crispy fried marinated chicken mince) before moving on to something more substantial. Chef specialities here include the malai kofta (fried cottage cheese dumplings cooed in creamy cashew gravy) and goat curry. Best dish: Nalli Nihari (lamb shanks cooked with yoghurt and spices).
