We enjoyed the set price lunch and French wine with our friend who recommended it to us. The food was excellent as was the service. We would love to return.
Good little French restaurant. Beef tartare was divine. The mains could have had a bit more flavour. Steak and the FOD. Overall a very pleasant experience.
The croquettes of the day was amazing. I could have had it a main. The slow cook lamb shoulder was so tender. I wish I had room for cheese! Can’t wait to go back. Merci Bon Ap
Good food, good service, good wine. Friends were impressed with the portion size and quality of the product.
We always enjoy coming here. Never disappoints. This time we brought family members who hadn’t been before. They agreed it is a great little place.
Becoming our go to restaurant- welcoming and friendly. Food is consistently good and good value. Tasting menu is worth trying. Good for brunch and dinner.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff!
Delicious food, friendly staff...we really enjoyed the night. Definitely recommend!!
I always enjoy the food, wine and service at Bon Ap'. I will always come back when I want to feel transported to somewhere in France. The menu is uncomplicated and authentic and I enjoy the selection of wines available.
Food and service was lovely and quick
Great decor. Would have liked a more extensive menu. But what we ordered was good. Will come again.
The food quality was unexpected. we have a little bit disappointed to drive one hour to try this restaurant. The services was overall average. Staff are friendly.
Really good food, GF options carefully selected for two of our party of seven. Helpful and excellent service. We love Bon Ap, but it was a little noisy. Lovely Burgundy bubbles, enjoyable evening.
Lovely little place serving French classics in a modern manner without being trite. Could be nice to see some regional specialities that aren't so famous in the future. We ate very well and were stuffed by the time we left. Snails were lovely in garlic and parsley. Mussels in cider and cream were delightful and ample bread was provided to soak up the gorgeous juices. The gnocchi Parisienne were silken with ample spinach to cut through the richness. I'd never had steak tartare and loved it- won't be everyone's think obviously but I'd recommend getting the smaller serve no matter how keen you are- it was a heck of a lot of meat!
Fantastic flavors. Whole place has a cool rustic bistro vibe. Service was good and an ample wine list. Will definitely be back here for a meal.
Welcomed flavours of France in Brunswick St
Very nice authentic french bistro food and friendly service
Some of the best french food ive had.
Really enjoyable. Very tasty food and great atmosphere. Had to chase the staff a bit though. Highly recommended.
193 Brunswick Street, 3065, Fitzroy, Australia
Opened in at the start of 2016 by three mates, Bon Ap’ petit bistro is inspired by the French classics that honour a history of craft and design - where each detail evokes a sense of narrative, place and delight.
This venue blurs the line between restaurant, bar and cafe, which delivers a subtle elegance and charm that’s appropriate for all occasions. It's a light filled space perfect for a morning croissant, long lunch or dinner, it's even a spot for a late night snack. Simply put, it's a place
committed to good food!
