Always really delicious food, but it is a bit over priced. Also a bit weird that we were only allowed to have our wine (the bottle that we ordered) in the small wine glasses - when I asked if we could have the larger glasses (that I could see behind the bar) I was told that I couldn't have wine in those glasses, as they are for different drinks. Makes no sense to me.
I’ve been here on numerous occasions but just for drinks. This was my first time eating here and the food was amazing. We slightly over ordered but had to eat everything because it was so good! Friendly attentive service and a cosy, relaxed vibe. Loved it so much we went back for brunch the following weekend which was also great. Highly recommend!
We all loved it, the service was great, such a fun vibe and the food was delicious. I’ll definitely be back!
Really great atmosphere and food was very good. Very buzzy vibe
Service was slow.
Great food and fab service
Great location great service. Ideal for small groups after a cheeky drink
First time here. Great atmosphere and an engaging and passionate host.
lovely meal and drinks with the girls
Fabulous! evening thank you!
Nice food but could not see it without using the torch on our mobile phones. Too noisy to enjoy conversation without raised voices. Dreadfully slow drink service - 25 minutes to get the drinks ordered. All this when paying a 15% surcharge for public holiday service.
Great food but the restaurant was fully empty!
Bit too noisy, but food was fine
Gret shared plates and lovely seevice :)
Great drinks and ambiance.
Delicious sharing plates, great drinks menu, nice atmosphere and great staff.
We popped in last minute for a late lunch on Sunday and had a great time. Really chilled atmosphere with live music from a vocalist and guitar player. We had a number of the small share plates ... they were all so good but the fish tacos were amazing! Will definitely be back for dinner to try the larger share plates.
Great service, food and drinks
Great friendly service

The new DIY…
Converted from hardware store to bar, Bondi Hardware (… ah we see what they did there) is a trendy spot where Bondi locals come to unwind. The décor, inspired by its namesake, features exposed brick walls, wooden panelling and displays of old tools. The menus too are in theme, written on graph paper with hardware imagery and fixed to wooden boards. Suitable for any time of the day, the menu includes salads, pizzas, sliders and sharing dishes. And to drink? There’s a great selection of local beers and ciders, local and international wines, cocktails. Our favourite is the Garden Party: Blueberry infused Beefeater Gin, elderflower liqueur, basil, lemon, vanilla and rhubarb bitters (YUM!).
Rows of long benches and high tables line the dining space, plus window seats and a couple of tables out the front provide the perfect spot for people watching. As the weather warms up, head out the back to the courtyard space, where umbrellas provide shade, and lights twinkle in the evening.
Best Dish: Crispy lamb salad with hummus, feta, Israeli couscous, pear and mint yoghurt
