We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I was visiting from Perth and we were celebrating my son’s birthday. My son and family live in Bindi. We always dine at the restaurant each time I visit. Great service, excellent food, a delightfully helpful waiter. Thank you for making our dinner enjoyable. Mary

Lovely service and melt-in-the-mouth sushimi. A little cramped feeling at times and very warm.

I've been a regular at BB for over 4/5years. I've noticed the service has dropped (not enough floor staff) and the floor staff arent attentive to customers - the customer is left waiting for a waiter to look up / or customer needs to actually "speak up" to make a request - never used to be like that previously. Food took a long time to arrive despite the restaurant not being full. I do feel like the restaurant has the ability to be a great success, its clean healthy food that people love. whats lacking is service and atmosphere which is removing bondis best from the go-to choice

Was a great restaurant. Unfortunately, I understand it is under new ownership and has deteriorated immensely. Fish was over cooked, tasted like rubber. Waitstaff not trained, not interested that I left most of the meal. Will not return.

I have been eating at Bondis best regularly for years and last night was shocking! Service was appalling, our dinner (which was primarily raw) took almost an hour to come. The waitresses walked past us constantly despite us saying “excuse me”! Food was fabulous but service was shocking

About the restaurant

Welcome to Bondi’s Best Hall Street

It was only a few years ago that owner and chef Joel Best opened his hole-in-the-wall fish shop, Bondi's Best in North Bondi. And now, Best has unveiled his next best thing - a larger eatery, under the same name, on the popular Hall Street strip in the heart of Bondi. Much like the original, the new eatery boasts a quality fresh seafood inspired menu from head chef Phillip Davenport (Ku De Ta, Bali) including the much-loved seafood inspired sushi from Hirofumi Fujita. Come to Bondi's Best and get well acquainted with seafood at it’s best, in a location where you're not eating on top of your neighbour. This Bondi hotspot is far more conducive for dining in, and less about taking away. Best has done his very best with his new seafood eatery - and we're simply loving it! Maybe even more than the little hole in the wall on Campbell Parade....
