Love this menu. Small (share), medium and large meals. Something for snacks, quick to-go lunch, drinks with friends, dinner out or supper. All the dishes we have tried have been very tasty, with layers of flavour and seasoning. Not too hot. Friendly and quick service. An any occasion, any time place.

You have to take notice when a menu states that the meals are described as "our version" of gumbo or jambalaya because these meals were not authentic to real New Orleans food at all. My Texan husband has lived many years in Louisiana and the food just wasn't true to the real thing. The brisket was half fat and gristle while the other half was tough as leather, hard to cut. The jambalaya was tasty but dry. Calamari under cooked. The gumbo tasted more like pea and ham soup! We left most of the food on our plates sadly. Waiter didn't pass by to check on our meals. Ambience was loud and too casual for a special occasion.

Restaurant great. Unfortunately FORK is not they told the restaurant 6.30pm and so when we got there they had to shuffle tables as they thought we weren't coming. Bourbon even called me to check we were coming but I missed the call. So Bourbon great but FORK needs to lift its act. Next time I'll just call the place directly!
