Great service by our waiters, food price was what you expect for a restaurant in southbank but portion sizes were very good. Every thing including shrimp was cooked well. Only thing we didnt eat was the rice in the gumbo dish and that was simply due to being full. Ordered 2 drinks 2 mains 2 entrees. Total cost was around $45 pp

Great food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks took alittle while to get to the table, but well worth the wait when they arrived.

About Bourbon Street

Southern hospitality Put on your best southern drawl and prepare your taste buds for a serious flavour onslaught. Bourbon Street pays homage to the Southern diners of Louisiana and New Orleans - with plenty of Southern hospitality a rich creole-inspired menu, a decadent drinks list, a quirky dining space and a breezy homestead-style alfresco area this is ideal resto for a casual catch up or a lazy Sunday session. The menu brings the flavours of the south with a menu featuring plenty of smoky, slow cooked and deep fried options - the sticky BBQ ribs and buttermilk biscuit fried chicken are always crowd pleasers. And for dessert? Well, it doesn't get much better than the Louisiana pecan pie with double cream. Digest while listening to Chalkie (the in house musician) bang out a few tunes on the piano. Best Dish: buttermilk fried chicken.
