Sashimi always really fresh. Their rolls also super good. Overall is such an excellent japs restaurant.
Always charming , atmospheric, attentive , elegant , without pretension . It’s not an extensive menu but always super fresh , beautifully presented . It’s got a good , buzzy vibe but intimate enough to have a private conversation . Recommend !
Local neighbourhood gem, great relaxed environment and quality food
Excellent Japanese food. Local gem. Very good miso eggplant and sushi rolls are excellent. Very good to go during happy hour. Could ease back on collecting the plates right after your last mouthful.
Fresh and Delicious
Great food, great location. Would recommend to anyone who loves Japanese food.
Sushi and food is great, staff are friendly.
A welcome find in the area. Good for dining before going to Hayes Theatre
Spinach with sesame paste and pork gyoza are both a must!
I have been quite a few times, food quality is good as usual, never been disappointed
Loved it here! Great, traditional Japanese food
One of our favourite Japanese restaurants, we've been coming here for over 8 years and the food and service is always consistent.
pleasant evening in good local venue
Cosy authentic Japanese restaurant with fantastic food and a good vibe for a weeknight.
Reliable, tasty, perhaps a little on the dear side, friendly service and love the counter seating. Their menu hasn't changed for a while so it would be great to see some new additions to their menu.
Food delicious but portion size too small Expensive for what you get Service OK but erratic delivery Wine list simple but adequate
Really in love with their sashimi salad, the best ever
I’ve been here many times before. The service to get the food out was extremely slow this time. Food quality is always good but it was well over an hour from when we ordered to when our last dish arrived.
One of my all time favourite restaurants in Sydney. We were a little disappointed this time around (probably our 6th visit). Wine list seems to have been reduced - very few options. Our favourite Beef Tataki gone from the menu. Tried the Bonito Tataki and didn’t really like the Bonito. Kingfish Carpaccio still magnificent. Tempura not as good as I remembered. Service still excellent.
Best days are over for this once top restaurant! No service, food delayed, small portions and the general vibe has gone. Goodbye never to return.....??
