I have dined here a number of times and felt the dinner was not up to the usual standard. However, it was still a good dinner and great service.

About Byron at Byron Restaurant

Dinner amongst the rainforest A meal at ‘Byron at Byron Restaurant’ - yes it’s confusing for us to say too - is a meal worth road tripping to Byron Bay for, or even worth planning a holiday around. With a focus on fresh, locally farmed produce, this Byron Bay beauty showcases Northern River’s local produce with passion. Everything here is lovingly planned and prepared under the guidance of Head Chef Gavin Hughes who has been at Byron since its opening. The food is light Mediterranean style and the menu changes each season to reflect the diverse regional offerings. It’s a true paddock to plate approach. But it’s not all about the produce and the food. The stunning open plan dining areas take advantage of the gorgeous rainforest, making you feel at one with nature while you dine. The breathtaking backdrop along with the fine food make for a truly memorable experience. Don’t miss out on this one. Best dish: roasted new England rump of lamb
