We had dinner for my sister's 40th. The staff were so friendly and attentive, had great knowledge of the menu and selections and really made us all of us including my sister feel very welcome and special for the evening. Everything we ordered was exceptional. We would definitely re-visit.

Lovely atmosphere. Quiet enough to hold a conversation over dinner. Beautiful food. It stretches my budget but is worth it!

Really enjoyed the deck beforehand and we had a lovely lady serve us! The food was amazing in the restaurant, however the hostess didn’t want to seat us for our booking 20mins early although the table was available. It seemed as if my sister and I were not a priority because we look young.

About Byron at Byron Restaurant

Dinner amongst the rainforest A meal at ‘Byron at Byron Restaurant’ - yes it’s confusing for us to say too - is a meal worth road tripping to Byron Bay for, or even worth planning a holiday around. With a focus on fresh, locally farmed produce, this Byron Bay beauty showcases Northern River’s local produce with passion. Everything here is lovingly planned and prepared under the guidance of Head Chef Gavin Hughes who has been at Byron since its opening. The food is light Mediterranean style and the menu changes each season to reflect the diverse regional offerings. It’s a true paddock to plate approach. But it’s not all about the produce and the food. The stunning open plan dining areas take advantage of the gorgeous rainforest, making you feel at one with nature while you dine. The breathtaking backdrop along with the fine food make for a truly memorable experience. Don’t miss out on this one. Best dish: roasted new England rump of lamb
