Great food, great service and the dining experience was perfect.
We were recommended by a number of friends to come to Caffe E Cucina. The food was excellent, though a little pricey I have to say. The wine selection was absolutely fantastic! The staff were very attentive and all made sure to welcome you when you arrived. The atmosphere was lovely and very warm. They also made me the best gin martini I’ve had in a long time. We will be back! Thanks for a lovely evening!
It was nice and cozy ! The service was really good & the food came out quick. The portion size for the pasta was good. The gnocchi was delicious, but the lamb in the ragu was a bit dry.
Wonderful food. Price of food and beverage is at another level but quality is excellent. We were disappointed to be seated upstairs as downstairs was our preference. I suspect I need to book earlier next time with my preference.
By far the best Italian restaurant in Melbourne! Super friendly and accommodating staff. We are always welcomed back with a smile and excellent service. The pasta is delicious every time we go!!
A wonderful New Year’s Eve at Caffe e Cucina: delicious specials and excellent wine suggestions. Atmosphere was great!! Thanks for a great night.
amazing, authentic italian place!!
Fantastic atmosphere, staff a brilliant, food to die for!
I love the atmosphere and how welcoming everyone is. I also love the Italian chatter. It makes you feel like you could in Italy. The food, of course, is spectacular as is the wine selection. This is my go-to for Italian, especially before the cinema.
An outstanding experience - warm welcome, generous portions and friendly service. Thank you for making a birthday dinner very special indeed!
Nice little vintage bar and restaurant. The service is warm and attentive. The pasta is yummy, but the fish special can be nicer. Food a bit pricey but the portions are generous. Overall, very good experience. Kids friendly as well.
This restaurant is absolutely brilliant. Authentic, friendly, ambient, fantastic service, seamless, fun, wonderful. A must for ANY occasion.
Have always loved this restaurant Waiters fun & prompt. Food fantasic. Restaurant way to noisy to enjoy conversation! Maybe quieter at lunchtime Sadly won’t rush back.
It felt just like Italy! We were welcomed by 2 enthusiastic Italian men and seated quickly. It did take a few minutes before we were offered menus but that was fine as we were able to sit back and take in the view of posters and other Italian memorabilia. The menu is very pricey so I expected big things. We had a pasta with Morton bay bugs and gnocchi. The gnocchi was melt in your mouth delish! The pasta not so much. The bugs were over powered by the sauce. It was my friends birthday and when I made the booking they said the would pop a candle on the desert we order as a surprise but it never happened which was disappointing. It was a nice night over all.
Consistent quality in food and service. Great atmosphere and mood. Only downside is a slightly overpriced bill.
I could not believe that we had not been to Caffe E Cucina in the 31 years it has been going! The food, service and ambience were excellent. I took my 94 year old father who did struggle with the level of noise so next time I will request the quietest table in the restaurant! We will be back!
Excellent food and service! If I had to fault something, I was a bit underwhelmed by the dessert menu. The whole menu had a wow factor except for the dessert.
The restaurant was very noisy - they didn’t need the music as well as the customer noise levels. An exciting vibe throughout the restaurant - great feel for a Saturday night.
