Husbands meal came..he was finished by time mine came..had to ask twice where mine was...management did right thing by not charging..but I think my meal had been totally forgotten..not sure if it was correctly put together once they knew it needed to be presented..we will return at some.e stage tho because food was nice and management acted appropriately..

Quite good food but very weird and heavy atmosphere in this restaurant... There is a significant lack of light on the restaurant as well. The owner is not really conciliant... And there is no stand plate in Italy to eat Pizzas, and Paleggio cheese doesn't exist, as only Taleggio is a name of italian cheese... Strange that this mistake has been done not only once but a few times on either their website and the printed menus...

Pricey for rather simple Italian food. Great position and atmosphere. Staff were very attentive though mains were brought out individually in a way that the first few were cold before the last arrived.

About Caffe Roma

Un classico Caffe Roma is a Sydney landmark and its longevity points to its many charms – in fact it’s been operating for more than 30 years in the leafy, historic Kellett Street in Potts Point. Caffe Roma is one of Sydney’s original Italian restaurants and this culinary Sydney icon has served many people throughout the years from Australia and all over the world set in surrounds featuring an eclectic mix of restaurants, nightclubs and residential apartments. Throughout the years Caffe Roma has been a regular meeting place for a loyal and well established customer base. It is frequented by celebrities, politicians, executives, artists, poets, tourists, students, local residents and anybody who enjoys good food, wine and lively conversation at all hours of night and day. Some come for the authentic homemade Italian cuisine, others to immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere in many some say is the heart of Italy in Sydney (don’t tell Leichhardt). They offer attentive service, crayons to draw on the tablecloth while you wait (or to occupy the kids), a selection of quality wine, exceptional pizza and a guarantee you will feel welcomed. Best dish: gnocchi
