cos lettuce, crispy bacon, parmesan & croutons tossed in a Caesar dressing topped w/ a poached egg.
grilled haloumi w/ baby spinach, poached pear & walnuts in a citrus vinaigrette
Had to wait over an hour for our meal and when it finally came out it was cold. We were told that they were understaffed and You could see that the staff were losing it. Very disappointing.
The restaurant staff were wonderful however we had booked online, received a confirmation and the restaurant never had our booking noted down. We had to wait for a table to be prepared as the restaurant was quite busy.
A bit more chips and salad with the meals would be perfect
I booked a week in advance online and received a confirmation response by email. We arrived at the door to be told there was no reservation. Our choice for remaining seating was a dark table in a corner behind the Trivia Lady’s speaker box, or, the terrace. We opted for the terrace because we were promised heaters would be turned on out there - this never happened. And it was cold. We ordered desert - 2 x sticky date + 1 x panna cotta(because thats all that was left) only to be served 3x panna cotta. Your staff knew I was annoyed because I voiced my disapointment to them - they apologised for inconveniences, but I was, and still am very annoyed. We don’t eat out often and this was a special occasion for my son’s birthday. If you want screenshots if my booking confirmation I can send them. When the effort to reserve, and to turn up and right off the bat be told you guys screwed up, doesn’t lead into an evening one is able to enjoy.
Food awesome, staff friendly
Menu states meal cost, excludes chips and salads, makes the meal jump from 19.90 to 23.00, tad expensive for a pub meal. (Floor in the ladies needed a good scrub, feet stuck to sticky floor)
Food was amazing
Trivia on and we couldn't here each other talking because of the microphone. Should host trivia in another room whilst people are eating and celebrating.
It was very quiet for a catch up of old friends, I like the small medium and large option for the schnitzels - enjoyable
Very happy, even got balloons on my table for my birthday
Much better food now than last time I went. Big improvement.
Food was nice but slow, we had a table of 4. 2 meals came and were finished before other 2 meals arrived.
Great food, Generous portions - already booked to come back in a month.
My husband and i selected a small serving and i tell you what it was more than enough to satisfy. Service was prompt and polite . Great value for money will definitely be coming back for more.
Good night had by all
