Food is good especially the Lamb and crispy potato. With the 50% discount, it’s absolutely an impressive dinner. Will recommend to friends
Great food, good portion sizes. Accommodate vegetarians and vegans. Highly recommend.
Friendly service and good quality food. Outdoor seating is available making it a great dining choice when the weather is lovely. I enjoyed the roasted brocollini.
Excellent Food and service - we will definitely return and recommend this restaurant to others. great spritz menu with interesting and lovely variations
Excellent food but expensive, would return if the same 50% food discount is available. Our party of 7 had grilled octopus, whiting, squid ink c& crab pasta with calabrese and rocket salads. Jug of house wine was not bad also.
This Italian restaurant was a wonderful find. The chef customised for us without giving a second thought though the restaurant was crowded. That is the best part of customer service. We go to a restaurant to get self contented after we eat. So this place gave me that satisfaction and it was very tasty and for the first time my daughter never complained about food and she finished off. Thanks to the chef. The staff who served us was so good, she was caring and ensured that we are satisfied with her service.
Overall a decent meal. Three issues, only four pippis on a main sized pasta dish. Lamb was veiny and not much burratta on the salad. Pasta was cooked well and the porchetta was very nice.
Repeat local customer with the family. Always great food and service. The squid ink pasta with crab is a star dish. Also has a good kids menu. Recommended.
Lovely atmosphere sitting on a little table by the street. The pastas were amazing particularly the squid ink crab. The ravioli was obviously home made and stunning. Great service waiting time for food was surprisingly quick given the restaurant was close to capacity inside and out. We have made a booking to come back in 4 days time ????
Excellent service, the house wine is very good and the food plentiful and tasty.
Great hand made pastas and focaccia. Whiting and veal ragu pasta were a bit average, desserts were tasty too. totally worth it for 50% off though
Favourite local restaurant, always had a lovely experience there
Delicious food, good portions, good value for money. Good service, friendly wait staff and didn't have to wait long for food.
Amazing authentic food! Would definitely recommend this place if you want an Italian gem. Service was great, we will be coming back again in the future!
I really liked the small dishes, Kingfish entry and Ink Squid spegettis are relly good. Dessert is not as I expected, but still nice, will definitely recommend this little place to taste mediterranian food.
The restaurant is a local favorite and very busy but still manages to serve beautiful food with a cosy atmosphere. I love the painted plates etc. Definitely for a return visit.
Always a favourite for us - usually before seeing amovie at the palace in Norton St. Excellent food - great to share a few dishes like Arancini, the signature potatoes, brocollini and home made raviolli. Everything is consistently good....
Friendly and welcoming. They tried to get us to sit outside but we're willing to let us sit inside when specifically asked for it. I enjoyed the oysters as well as the squid ink pasta very much
I've been here 5 times and honestly it's my favourite italian joint. Their pastas changes once in a while but every dish has taught me that a good pasta: doesn't need a lot of sauce, is still flavourful, has really good texture, al dente and portions are just the right amount to be full but not too full. Would also recommend the duck parfait
The pastas were delicious but the focaccia was stale. Our first waitress was not so friendly and attentive but the second one was better. Otherwise it was a good experience.
159 Norton Street, 2040, Leichhardt, Australia
Located in the Italian central of Sydney on Norton Street, Capriccio focusses on modern Italian while sticking to typical Italian flavours. Using their woodfire oven for anything and everything, from paninis, to vegetables and porchetta. On a nice day, sit outside and watch the world go by (with a spritz in hand, of course) or tuck into something filling when dinner rolls around. Oh, and take a moment to admire the beautiful crockery - they're hand painted and imported from Italy. Gorgeous! -
