Quality, delicious Italian food. The best squid ink spaghetti !! Really good service and a great atmosphere. Make sure you try the baked ricotta cheesecake!
The rosemary and sea salt foccacia is delish, the roast potatoes were crispy with a yummy sauce, broccolini with sesame sauce was scrumptious!!
Good food. Will come again
The squid ink pasta with crab meat was absolutely amazing. The rest of the meal was quite nice too. I would recommend the restaurant if you want to try something other than a “regular” wood fired pizza or a bolognese. However, the dishes were quite small, so you may want to order at least a pasta and an entree each if you are hungry.
Great staff, great food! Will definitely be back. The Yellowfin Tuna was fantastic, the roasted potatoes were wonderful and the pasta was cooked perfectly.
Service was thoughtful and cheerful. The room gets noisy- could do with some noise absorbing surfaces. Food unpretentious, fresh and with genuine flavours . A good experience.
Cute little Italian restaurant.. nice simple setting. Good food.. was surprised the ragu wasn’t a red sauce but all still very nice. Liked the crab pasta. Nice wine. Well priced and very welcoming
It was lovely to enjoy beautiful Italian food in this restaurant. All dishes were well served and staffs were very nice too. It was definitely worth to checking out!
Have been here numerous times & it is consistently good. The woodfired foccacia is a must. Arancini is crunchy on the outside & creamy inside. Beef carpaccio & tuna crudo are both light & delicious as well as the woodfired dishes like octopus, chicken or steak. Pastas are all made inhouse and is a must from rich, flavourful duck ragu or ravioli to the lighter squid ink, all are delicious. Great selection of wines and service is efficient.
What a great find! The food was wonderful. We ordered the focaccia and duck liver parfait for entrees and both are a MUST. The focaccia was so flavorsome and the parfait was light and fluffy. Our table shared the duck fettuccini, squid ink spaghetti and spinach and ricotta ravioli, all of them were amazing. There's nothing like freshly made pasta. We all highly recommend.
I have been looking for a good local Italian in Leichhardt and this fits the bill. Really good pasts dishes that weren't bland or boring and had that little bit of extra something. The service was great too.
Great food of consistently high quality. Reasonable prices, buzzy atmosphere & fast service with a great wine list.
Excellent food & friendly service
Great service and well cooked and presented food would return to this restaurant.
Nice place with good selection of food items.
We had a wonderful meal yesterday. Ordering crispy potatoes, wood fired brocolini and porchetta. Everything was delicious and of high standard.
Thank you again for a wonderful night. We can’t wait to come back, everything was perfect.
Food is very good . Not the standard Italian fare. Pricing is a bit on the high side. Service was good & attentive. Unfortunately restaurant is very noisy . Hard to hear any conversation - a bit of a spoiler
Capriccio has good food and a great wine list for a middling budget. Very friendly place! Loved it!
159 Norton Street, 2040, Leichhardt, Australia
Located in the Italian central of Sydney on Norton Street, Capriccio focusses on modern Italian while sticking to typical Italian flavours. Using their woodfire oven for anything and everything, from paninis, to vegetables and porchetta. On a nice day, sit outside and watch the world go by (with a spritz in hand, of course) or tuck into something filling when dinner rolls around. Oh, and take a moment to admire the beautiful crockery - they're hand painted and imported from Italy. Gorgeous! -
