Completing his cookery apprenticeship at Catalina, Mark has worked his way through all areas in the Catalina kitchen over the past 16 years. In November 2015 Mark accepted the position of Executive Chef. Mark's long association with and experience at Catalina ensures continuity and his passion is reflected in some exciting new dishes alongside the Catalina favourites.

Catalina is always outstanding the service is seamless I love that it is extremely professional but still very warm , friendly and genuine . The food is very creative delicious and looks amazing on the plate . I love Catalina it is truly one of the best restaurants and deserves a visit .

Always enjoy a meal at Catalina - love the great service, wonderful food and beautiful views. Being near the fireplace on a cold day was rather good too.

Lovely venue, staff and food. Prices are a little high but food was very well presented and delicately flavoured.

This restaurant is consistently good. You will not get a bad meal here. Service is the focus here and they will treat you well. Join their mailing list and you'll save up to $100 on your birthday. Definitely recommended.

Lunch at Catalina is always a great experience. The staff are excellent, the food superb, the atmosphere ever changing and what more could you ask for on a fine Autumn day than to sit in the sunshine looking at Sysndey Harbour.

Catalina is an impeccable and safe choice when it come to a fine dining fare, ambience and service. I would plan ahead for parking though, given that they don't have reserved parking, valet parking costs $30. There is public parking that is usually packed at lunch and dinner times. In saying that, it sure is well worth the trouble to enjoy the fantastic food and ambience, and the general dining experience!

Catalina is a great place to eat. Great staff, excellent front of house and great atmosphere. A little crowded on the day before Mother's Day but still fabulous. Michael McMahon AND his family have built a great restaurant from what was a sad remnant of past glories
