- Value for money
Meet you at Centra With a focus on architecture, food and drink - Centra Hotel seamlessly links all three delivering a harmonious dining experience that caters to all the senses. The venue, originally constructed in 1854, has been given a recent facelift by renowned architect Tarryn Joyce who has created a comfortable contemporary space, which still highlights elements of Centra’s history. The menu is rustic and Italian, driven by local produce and a desire to deliver fresh, flavoursome, expressive and honest. The antipasti offering is perfect for an afterwork snack, while the primi, secondi and pizza listings are great for a hearty feast (the pappardelle lamb ragu is simply mouth-watering). The menu is beautifully complemented by the drinks list, which offers a large range of beers and ciders, plus some locally sourced wines and craft brews. Come with your mates and sit out in the leafy courtyard, bring the family for a big ol’ catch up or bring your partner for a casual date night - this place can cater for all. Best dish: prosciutto & rucola pizza followed by tiramisu.
