The food was fantastic and the service was friendly. Loved the lamb shanks and chocolate brownie. The kids meals are also very good quality and value.

Service was good, tapas were tasty, mains were okay. They refused to split bills so be prepared if you are a group going to this place

Shouldn't offer a 50% off for lunch bookings as they wouldn't accept it

Had booked lunch via The Fork festival, was told we couldn't use the 50% off for lunch as although we had a promo code and booked specially for lunch. Ended up paying full price

We all enjoyed your delicious food and the evening was everything we hoped it would be. The environment and food are beyond expectation, Adam is incredible and the staff are professional and nice. The combination of food, environment and staff make the guests comfortable and respected.

Food was cheap and nasty. Would rather stay at home with a tin of baked beans that I could present better than the meals we were served.

we were pleased withnthe food and drink and their special priced deal for before 6.30 pm. especially impressed with their bill preparation-------very transparent j in its detail.on their wine list they should show where each wine is from.would avoid the need to go into questions.

Outdated menu with outdated prices. Service was terrible (staff made us feel horrible & that we weren't of the right class of people to eat there). For the quality of food was very much overpriced. Would never eat here again.

About the restaurant

The place to be seen Central Lounge Bar & Dining is so cool it has its own Instagram account. Perhaps why that’s all the bright young things flock to this Gold Coast favourite in the heart of Surfers Paradise for its famous shots and cocktails before heading out into the bright lights of Orchid Avenue. We’re told they sometimes even like to enjoy a meal. Call us old-fashioned, but we love it for the huge outside terrace-cum-beer garden and great food. Start with a few tapas like duck spring rolls, the intriguingly-named deconstructed nachos, or good old-fashioned chicken wings before tucking into the braised lamb shanks or beetroot risotto. Alternatively, stick to one of their delicious pizzas if you want to keep it simple. Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, a function or a banquet, any time is a good time to visit the Central. However, please, no photos. Best dish: beetroot risotto
