Food which was the beef cheese burger and the bourbon pork ribs was mediocre and expensively priced. Everything was under seasoned. Sweet potato fries were soggy

It was really such good quiet ambiance perfect during dinner! Brian and Josef were really great hosts that night! Food was done so well! Eating comfort food in a hotel setting was close to perfect!????
We had a great dinner at this new restaurant in the evening of 30/11/19 . The service is friendly, courteous and efficient. The food is good value for money and well presented . We had overally a nice beef Burger although meat pattie is a bit dry. The pork ribs are fresh and juicy. The grilled main comes with 2 sides. We ordered eye fillet median rare but it was a little more rarer then we expected . Thank you !
Great food. The service was good. Josef was entertaining. There were long pauses between courses - could have done with a more proactive engagement. As it was we were there for four hours which gave plenty of time to catch up around the table. It is a very good restaurant.
Absolutely 10/10 for dinner. So impressed and Vivienne did a great job looking after us. We have been there many times - thanks and well done guys. A very good dinner. And really good service. Thank you.
Food was good. Service a bit slow.
Having been there many many times before, we were extremely disappointed to be advised that they had sold out of ribs. That can happen. The only issue that caused some disbelief to the excise was that the ta Le next to us received a number of ribs after we had finished our meal. Seemed very odd. Then we were advised that we couldn’t have the sticky date pudding (not on the menu but it was always made for us and others >10 times before). The reason provided “supplier issue”. The service staff were pleasant, not rude but that didn’t put our preferred dishes on the ta Le. Will reconsider any further visits there.
Scallops and pork belly entree was not fresh tasting. It was cold and hard. The bacon on the oysters were sour and hard. A disappointment as you would expect freshness from these two dishes.
Food was nice. Both wines we tried were awful. The German barman was hilarious and great banter. They had run out of one of the only two desserts we wanted which was a shame. Overall the restaurant was mostly empty and without the 50% off food voucher it would have been way overpriced.
Staff are friendly but food prices are little over the top. (but thanks to the Fork’s 50% special offer). We had pork ribs in bourbon sauce which was fresh and yummy, Chicken pesto fusilli and salad of rocket, pear and halloumi were great tasting. too.
The food was superb and service was really attentive. Highly recommend the Tuna Tartare and steak was perfectly cooked. Great seating and ambience.
Quite good overall
Lighting and ambience was good. Service was great, menu had great choices, mains took far too long to come out despite a quite night there. Mains were great portion sizes.
The location and decor was nice with attentive staff. Given the price, I was expecting better food. Tuna tatar was very nice but the steaks were below expectations.
Great atmosphere and all staff are attentive and polite. All of us enjoyed our meal and drinks. My mushroom risotto was nice, but as vegetarian I wish there were more options.
