Chakra's menu has been curated carefully, thoughtfully, taking into consideration the essence of Indian culture, by head chef, m- Ashish with a vision to break the norm â€Indian food is spicy only. Each dish comes with untold stories of its origin, presented beautifully on bespoke platters, emanating aroma of whole herbs and spices used, to tantalise the senses. Ashish uses the whole palette of flavors spicy, sour, sweet, and hot all at the same time to balance out his dishes in most delectable way. He takes every possible care to make his food close to the roots. Chakra's home styled cooked Indian food has no artificial colours, no MSGs and is full of flavours coming from Indian whole herbs.Restaurant menu

10/10This experience was wonderful. The service was first class with the extra little touches to make you feel welcome. Our waitress was a very happy and cheery young lady who was loaded with information, a big smile and ever watchful to remove empty dishes. It is very pleasing to see staff who are happy in their job and ready to please. The food choice was good and very tasty. All up, recommend for sure.

7/10The service was extremely slow, we had about 5 different waitresses looking after our table and none of them had any idea who ordered what food and drinks, and it was so loud, you couldn't hear a word anyone was saying which made the ordering process an absolute shambles. I ordered 1 tasting paddle and she thought I said 5, so we ended up with 5 paddles of shots. Thankfully they addressed it was their mistake and only charged us for one. The food was good but I don't see myself going back any time soon. They had way too many people there for the size of the establishment and not set out well.

7/10Welcoming staff. Food quality and quantity has slipped over the years. Not as authentic as it use to be with the use of fresh spices - which is what really set them apart from other Indian restaurants in the first instance.

6/10The chicken in the platter was a disappointment. It was not smoky, blant, it didn't taste like tikka at all. The pot set biryani was full of nuts but lack of flavour. Goat curry was a disappointment as well. No way this restaurant is the best indian restaurant in Perth. This on claims it's progressive Indian but that doesn't mean it can get rid of all sort of masala & flavour from food. I went there thinking it has good reviews, the food gonna be awesome. I have lost faith in Indian restaurants in Perth this one no different.

10/10This was our first visit to Chakra. It had been recommended by a few friends and I'm pleased to say it exceeded our expectations! Fabulous food, surprise tastings and excellent service. We were totally spoiled? Love it and we'll be back :-)
