Fresh soup made in house. Please see your wait staff for today’s soup.
Half potatoes stuffed with diced bacon & onion, topped with melted cheese and drizzled with smoky BBQ sauce and sour cream.
The staff were super friendly, and our table was great. Our drinks that we ordered lemon/lime/ bitter was too sweet which we had to add water. We ordered from the menu the 3 course meal @ $55 pp. My husband steak was over cooked , should of been medium to well. Myself and my daughter ordered the mushroom shaped liked balls were burnt. Then our main we ordered the fish which was tender and nice but the vegetables were raw and hard to chew. My 2 daughters ordered dessert fried mars bars which were hard to use the knife to cut and hard to chew as well. Overall the food did not met our expectations. This was one of our favourite restaurant which we came a few years back which we bought our friends that was visiting from overseas that we brag this restaurant was the best in Ipswich.
The service was amazing our waitress for the night was an absolute gem. Food was delicious and very well done. Definitely get your values worth of food. And the atmosphere is so lovely and vibrant.
The atmosphere was lovely and warm inside. A mix between country pub meets modern dining. The service was great. I liked having table service and not having to get up for a drink or to order. My family and I were able to comfortably talk together and our food and drinks arrived really quickly.
The staff were excellent, so helpful, attentive and friendly. Really enjoyed our experience.
Service was lovely with friendly staff, unfortunately the food was not as lovely. One member of my party ordered the herb crusted barramundi- however arrived with no crust, as well as a steak being ordered medium and being essentially inedible due to being overcooked. Thank you to Chard for having us.
It was okay. Nothing great or noting bad.
I had the beef brisket which i buy from woolies and cook up myself at home.. tasted the same and was overcooked as the meat was tough and dry.. the mash had something that tasted weird in it like like leek.. didn't eat it.. the remaining veggies looked like something served on a hospital dinner plate.. was edible but not pleasing to the eye.. my wife's Thai beef salad was ok.. cheesy garlic bread was yummy.. deep fried mars bar and waffle was nice.. with drinks $107..a bit pricey for below average food
I was very happy to see that your staff didn't just exist of very young people
The restaurant was lovely, quite a few kids running to play area. We were seated near play area and toilets and it was quite busy and not the best dining experience while trying to enjoy a meal. Table service- never got asked if we wanted any more drinks after originally being seated.
Lively waitress, quick meal times
Awesome night out
Great place never had a bad meal yet and service is awesome.
3 of the 5 steaks were over cooked but we gave the feedback there, the rest of the meals were ok, what we paid was way to expensive for what we got
On busy nights they get the orders wrong
Very nice atmosphere. Not too loud so can have conversations without yelling. Food was fantastic. Great service form staff. Always there when needed.
Tap drinks list is phenomenal and has some unusual beers that are very hard to find elsewhere. Service of food was extremely fast, food well presented and tasty. Does get a bit busy which slows staff a little, but overall an exceptional dining and drinking establishment.
Great food and service.
Great atmosphere. The food was delicious but took a little while to arrive, up to 45 minutes, but given how busy the place was then it is to be expected. Fantastic range of drinks to choose from, especially if you like beer.
It was unfortunate that we went on a night that the new order system was implemented, causing the service not to be as good as my last visit, but we still had a good night out
Have dined at Char'd a few times now. A great atmosphere. Fantastic menu selection. Friendly and helpful Wait Staff. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Just some room for improvement on removing the empty glasses from the table whilst dining.
