I used to go to chefs gallery at least 1-2 times a week for the dumplings. So you can Imagine how disappointed I was when they got rid of the pork and cabbage pan fried pot stickers! I was a long term client and now I will never go back! The staff are great, knew our orders the second. It’s very disappointing that they took it off the menu.

Good food Lovely staff

Tried the new lunch menu, pictures looked great in the menu, but it arrived on a plastic lunch tray and felt very cafeteria like. Ordered the bbq duck set and the duck does not have a lot of flavour. Dessert was not even sweet- more like yellow water with sago in it than a dessert. Service was good and staff were attentive, even topping up my water.

Staff were pretty impatient, rude an unhelpful

Very rushed to get out and leave once 9pm came around. One of the main meals was to include cashews which was not included. Staff had started mopping and cleaning around our feet. The eftpos machine was brought over to the table and payment was expected as soon as the mains were served. I have been here over 10 times but the appalling service this time means I would never return nor would I suggest this.
Hello there, thank you for sending us feedback. Hearing your recent experience with us is very saddening. First, for some ingredients didn't appeared on your meal and we'll this to the branch chef and ask what happened. Second, our apologies that you feel you weren’t treated pleasantly by our staff. We recognize that part of a wonderful dining experience is quality customer service and we'd like to know how we can improve our service. We hope you visit us again so we can make it up to you!

Ubfortunately our experience was very disappointing. The beef cubes were dry and flavourless, the sweet and sour pork had a thick coat of flour and the balance of flavour was off, and the duck salad only had a few slivers of duck. The only nice tasting dish was the Fujian fried rice. The restuarant also seemed understaffed for busy Mothers day with tables sitting emty while guests were lining up at the door

Since changing their menu a few years ago, food wise Chefs Gallery has turned into just another Chinese restauraunt. On top of this when we arrived the place was absolutely freezing, almost colder than the 14° it was outside which meant all the patrons were sitting inside with their jackets on. We asked to turn up the heating or turn down the blasting fan which was above us multiple times to which they said they didnt have the power to do. We had to keep asking until they moved us to another section, but still didnt change the temp. They gave us hot water and we pushed on and continued to dine there for Mothers day. I wasnt impressed by the flavour, ambiance or level of service we received and felt like a whining customer which i usually am not! I dont think ill return.
Hi there, thank you for sharing your recent experience with us. Our apologies for the uncomfortable it cost you because of the ambiance and cooling of the restaurant. We'll mention this to the branch to do better. Hope you consider visiting us again so we can make it up to you.
