The venison was cooked to perfection, melted in your mouth and the sauce was amazing. And of course the crepe for dessert is a must.

We had to go up these terribly steep stairs which is a health hazard plus they only had a choice of lemonade and coke and percolated coffee. The main advertising said a 3 course meal and only when we read further down did we realise that we had to share an entree and a maximum price of $26.90 main meal leaving a very minimal choice of meals.

Food and service are exceptional. The owner of restaurant is also the chef who has been cooking for over 40 years and is still passionate about his cooking.. Love how the chef comes out to speak to the diners - such a personalised touch. He is such a friendly and funny character. Very entertaining. Great atmosphere. Décor is lovely-very chic French. Even though restaurant was full it isn't noisy like other ones where you can't hear each other talk. Also my husband loves steak tartare and even though it isn't on menu the chef said if we call ahead he will prepare it for him. My jusband said it was delicious. We have been here a number of times and will keep going back. All friends we've been there with were equally impressed with this restaurant.

About Chez Pascal

Bonjour Dimmi diners and bienvenue to Chez Pascal, Sans Souci’s own little piece of Paris. Here Chef Philippe Lebreux and his son Pascal have created a French-style haven that has Francofiles going weak at the knees, with a menu stuffed full of everything from escargot to boeuf bourguignonne. Come and try their signature braised Ox cheek that is melt-in-your-mouth-good, and you can’t possibly leave without sampling their crepe normande which comes soaked with apple brandy. But wait... just when you thought you had made up your mind, the specials board will blow you away with even more choice and variety of produce! You can also BYO your own drinks, which is something of a rarity these days and always great fun. Step inside this quaint French Bistro and be transported to the other side of the globe where the service is on point, the food is delicious and the atmosphere warm and welcoming! Best dish: Joue de Boeuf (Ox Cheek)
