When we arived at Chianti's for our 6pm reservation the place was already packed! Most of the tables were filled with families with plenty of kids at their tables. We have 4 kids of our own (and have been here before with them) but tonight was to be a quick meal before attending another function. The service was very quick and efficient without being overbearing and the food was great! We started with the garlic bread which was melt-in-the-mouth. My wife had the gnocci which was deliciously home-made and had a beautiful sun-dried tomato based sauce. I had a steak which also had a tasty mushroom-cream sauce and perfectly cooked vegetables accompanying it. We BYOed our wine and used an Entertainment Book voucher which entitled us to 25% off so the meal only cost us $49 - EXCELLENT VALUE!!!

Service was very slow, shouldn't have to ask for service. Need to change the front door entrance as the door remains open to allow service to outside but you freeze if your inside (in winter at least).

My family (12 of us) all had a wonderful time. The staff were attentive and helpful without being intrusive, the food was incredible. My one issue was that when I booked I wasn't told we would be placed outside because inside was fully booked. It turned out ok because the weather was fine, but it could have been a lot worse.

Organised a staff end of year dinner online through Dimmi. Loved the confirmation and reminder. Arrived a little late and was shown to a table of our choosing. Server came to offer us drinks/entree straight away. Very friendly amiable server, happy even to take group photo. Had to ask a second time for water, and was taken back that we could have been charged corkage by the glass(we had BYO different wines). Happy to say, we didn't get charged per glass. Girls all loved their meals - veal, house special, risotto. I found my boscialo a little bland. Dessert was absolutely gorgeous - not only to eat but to look at - Superb!!!! A little surprised that when my tea pot came out there was no tea/teabag in it. Overall, the experience was great. Despite the slight glitches I would recommend them to friends and family because there was PLENTY of food to eat, and the server(s) were very friendly. And the fact that any mistake was cheerfully corrected.
