The food at this restaurant was super fresh and delicious. We had the tasting menu and it was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and service was excellent. As a foodie from Melbourne and picking this restaurant randomly, we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the whole experience tremendously. Will definitely be back when we are next in Sydney.
The food is excellent in taste esp the peking duck is crispy and succulent perfectly cooked and the yuzu chicken is delicious. However it is the parking on a saturday night at the stars made the night not that pleasant. When i made the reservation with the stars, the lady advised the parking ticket can be validated on a saturday for $10 but when making the bill payment at the restaurant the staff advised they cannot validate it on a saturday, very confusing conversation in between stars reservation and the restaurant staff!!! Also was it really a public holiday on that saturday 3rd april? Public holiday is considered on a good friday and a easter monday but we were charged as a public holiday throughout easter which I think is a ripp off 15% surcharge that evening comparing to other restaurants is 10% surcharge on public holidays. When we arrived there we were seated near the tattoo interiors which looks great for photo but after a little while waiting for our food there was a strong sewage smell because the toilets were just behind that artistic picture wall and we had to request to change tables.
Absolutely and utterly enjoyed the fusion dishes. Outstanding on and off menu options. Kingfish shashimi, chicken with Yuzu, wok king mushroom, pipis with crispy noodles oozed delightful butterness flavour, and oh man the taro milk tea desert rendition into a plate of reconstructed delight...golly so good. Got to shout out for the amazing 5 star service from Jin. Guy just knows how to provide an all round dining experience. Definitely will come back and recommend this new restaurant, which offers fine dining comfort food goodness!!!

Amazing mix of Japanese and Chinese flavours. We're very familiar with both cuisines and yet the food still surprised and impressed us. Fantastic view and great vibe on the Saturday night. They were running on a limited menu at the time after coming back from a long Covid closure so we'll definitely be back when things are in full swing.
Amazingly presented tasty food with gorgeous relaxing views and lovely wait staff. The Peking Duck is a must try! Worth the scenic walk there to the end of the wharf. Will be returning!
Perfect experience
Food was lovely and a great fusion of Japanese and Chinese. We are very familiar with chinese food but the peking duck was a refreshing surprise! The fried rice was also a highlight. Service was friendly and we had a great evening!
Exceptional service and delicious food.
A superb evening! The menu is somewhat limited (due to Covid I think), but the dishes that were on offer were exceptional in flavour and presentation. The highlights were the tempura Yuzu chicken, the oysters, the king brown mushrooms with rolled rice noodles, the wagyu flank and the Peking duck, which was was so unique! The condiments and flavour were delicious. Save room for dessert! The cocktails were so good too. Recommendations: the pikachu sgroppino and the Chuuka and chill. Last but not least, our waiter for the evening Jin was 10/10 fantastic! Great service, great recommendations and great demeanour. Thanks for a great night!

Excellent customer service, very attentive. Nice view of Harbour Bridge. We were a bit surprised the restaurant wasnt inside the casino, but rather on Jones Bay Wharf, so we ended up walking 10min from the casino, but our own fault for not checking. Really enjoyed the oysters and fried rice. We found the flavours of the salmon sashimi a bit overpowering (esp the hoisin sauce) and it covered the natural sweetness of the salmon, however the salmon sashimi was really good quality. The dessert- lychee creme brulee was a delight. Will recommend and be back again
The fried rice was the standout dish for the evening. The other dishes were pretty average and prices were expensive for the portion small sizes.
If I wrote a review each time we dine at Chuuka, I’d be writing one every three weeks!! ???? Love the place and everything about it!
Excellent food and great service with good location on the water. Highly recommend this for a special occasion. Good wine list as well. Due to covid the food selection represents a subset of their full but mainly consist of their specialities.
Great service and friendly staff. The food was delicious every dish had the Japanese and Chinese infusion, it was amazing. The view of the Harbour Bridge was nice also.
