Was a little bit disappointed in the food. One of the items didn’t arrive until asked for. One of the dishes was too salty. I picked the restaurant for my husband and he hardly ate any of his meal which is extremely unusual. When we got to the restaurant they were still sweeping the floor. An entree advertised as fiery was extremely mild. Altogether we were very disappointed.

The curry vindaloo was good as was the naan bread, the guys that served me were very attentive.

Beautiful tandoori chicken and excellent rice and raita, goat curry flavour was dominated by chilli and mango lassi wasn’t based on real mango.

Good Indian food, and worth a drop in. Servings are substantial and staff are friendly.

Great food. Good portion sizes but our rice came after we finished as it had been forgotten. Need to put another staff member on.

Average food. Does not deserve online hype. There are much better Indian restaurants in Launceston. Tikka Masala meat was dry. Service poor

Great food and service was prompt and pleasant. Only problem is if you buy a bottle of wine at least remove the lid and supply a cooler or such. But apart from that very pleasing.

About Cinnamon Indian Restaurant

Coffee and curry? This all day diner combines coffee with curry - it sounds a bit weird but trust us it’s good! In the mornings pop in to Cinnamon and grab the Big Tassie Breaky and a fluffy cappuccino. Or come for lunch and dine on nachos, a toasted focaccia sambo or a chicken parmi. Alongside this classic cafe menu is an exotic Indian spread, with everything from onion bhajia to classic butter chicken! Yes these guys have (rather unusually) got it all. It’s a great family venue and even better for indecisive diners who can’t decide what they’re in the mood for! Best dish: chicken tikka masala AND friends burger.
