My boyfriend and I booked lunch on Sunday for our very first weekend getaway trip. The food is absolutely delicious at Circa 1876. My boyfriend and I enjoyed very much especially the Smoked Venison Fillet! The only downside from our lunch is the waiting time during the 3 courses. However, we understand and appreciate the delicious and creative food. Also, the big table next to us , the kids were jumping around us were a little unpleasant but again we were carried away by the delicious food. Overall, i must say I'll revisit again:)

Could not fault the service or the exceptional food, our waiter Brent was fabulous and an absolute asset to the restaurant. Would highly recommend, this was my third visit to the restaurant and I will be dining here every time I visit the Hunter Valley.

The food and service was lovely however the portions of the food was tiny so when you spend $75 for a two course meal you shouldn’t expect to be hungry afterwards

The waiting staff and kitchen made everyone in our party feel welcome, incoluding our two children under 10. Menu was amazing and sourced from the gardens where possible. Recommend the venison and the berry dessert. Thank you

Fabulous venue - old 1876 home incorporated into the restaurant building which you can walk into on your way in (also can have own room dinners there) and interior of the restaurant how the 'wow' factor.
