Chickpea crepe with wild Australian mushrooms, gruyere and watercress
Pan fried snapper fillets with jerusalem artichoke puree, veal jus and crispy parmesan asparagus
Free-range chicken Maryland, stuffed with mushroom duxelle and veal farce, served with Champagne and asparagus risotto and creamy morels sauce
Great staff and atmosphere. The drinks were well made and presented as was the menu. Unfortunately the excitement of the menu did not follow through to the food, which didn’t knock our socks off and was a bit bland for some of the dishes. It’s a real shame as the restaurant has a lot going for it and we are hoping it was just an off night for the kitchen.

Great ambience and food. Would definitely go back here again! Good place for a romantic date or family dinner that’s won’t hurt the pocket all that much.
Hidden Gem, Great food....Great service....Great atmosphere and YES Sydney, here you can actually clearly & comfortably hear your dining companions speaking at your table.... This was visit # 5 in 2019 and we will be back before the year ends at least one more time... if not twice !! Michael

Mushroom mousse was sooo good and the creme brulee

Claire’s was honestly one of the finest dining out experiences we’ve had in Sydney. Impeccable food, lovely waitstaff, excellent and attentive service, a gorgeous atmosphere and lovely cocktails/wine list. Absolutely stunned!

This was for a fabulous three course meal, cabaret, decent bottle of wine and a couple of G&T's. Very good value.

Our favourite restaurant and for good reason. We are reminded each time we go. And were so pleased to be able to share it with friends this time. We tried so hard to stick with 2 courses but when that dessert platter comes around... It's just too much to resist - and no regrets for succumbing.

A wonderful restaurant, formal but relaxed, wait staff were so friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed it. The food was to die for. We'll be going back to catch one of the shows next time.
This little gem fills a much needed void in Sydney. So sophisticated, classy & quirky this fine dining has a wonderful touch of glamour with great artists who add to the atmosphere. All orchestrated by the master of cerimonies Marc aka Claire... this find is now on our regular to do list, brings a smile to you face & warms your heart & reestablished your faith in Sydney.
My wife and I had our 37th anniversary dinner and could not have been happier. The welcome, service, food and drink were all first class. Clair breezed in looking fabulous Will be back!! Thank you for a fabulous night

A star of the kitchen as well as the stage, former TV chef Marc Kuzma (aka Claire de Lune) lets his talents shine at his Darlinghurst venture, Claire’s Kitchen at Le Salon. Step through the doors from Oxford Street, and enter a world of glamour, decadence and French chic. Soaring ceilings, imported wallpapers, glittering chandeliers, white linen, black Louis XV chairs and French antiques will make you feel like you’re world’s away from the chaos of the bustling street outside. Oh oui, nous aimons que….(we love that!). Charming French waiters warmly welcome patrons at Claire’ and the brasserie classics with contemporary touches are done with true French finesse. The double baked three cheese soufflé or blue eye trevalla fillet served with crab bisque and spinach dumpling should be ordered immediately upon arrival and you should seriously consider finishing with something sweet from the dessert trolley followed by a fine French wine or Claire de Lune cocktail in the mezzanine bar. It’s French chic at its best.
