Friendly service and greetings, scallop and steak tartare were fabulous! The duck as a main was great too, ambience was dim and romantic. Food was presentable!
Incredible place! Delicious food, pleasant, superb service. One of our favourite restaurants in Sydney.
1st time was a great surprise very authentic French food merci
the atmosphere and deco was great, staff was very friendly and helpful, definitely worth coming back.
There was a show upstairs , we ate downstairs, which meant we got to enjoy the music, and were still able to converse. The food was delicious. Duck pie was outstanding. Chocolate mouse was a little on the runny side, but tasted delightful
Always fabulous and amazing food. Everyone I take loves it. The staff are very fabulous. Food and drinks superb as always. The setting is wonderful too, another fab evening!
Mark was sensational. Very attentive and passionate, can't wait to come back again
The food was very good and the owner is a really nice person. We went on a Saturday night and the restaurant was quite busy. We will definetely go there again!
Food, drinks, atmosphere and service were excellent!! Highly recommended.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed the cheese souffle and scallops very much. The beef was a touch over seasoned to our taste. Look forward to our next visit.
We really enjoyed Claire's the service is second to none, very welcoming. The food is good but not excellent - I would hope for a bit more French flair - the Soup l'onion was fairly ordinary. Nice restaurant I would recommend to anyone
The staff here were really lovely and professional. Felt very welcomed and comfortable the moment we arrived. Loved the atmosphere, music and food. Will definitely be back!
Wish bread was warm and soft and cheese souffle wasnt too dark. Snapper fillet was memorable. Thank you.
Very transitional French restaurant, nice place for a romantic dinner with your partner. Also they have a big room upstairs if you have a large group of friends
Good food, the service was inconsistent. Other than that, I’ll give it another try for the food.
This was a delightful surprise for my husband & I having a sneaky weekend away from our 3 children in Melbourne. We love French cuisine & everything French so to be served so brilliantly by all French wait staff, enjoy delicious meals & accompanying beverages - it was a wonderful evening. Merci beaucoup a Claire et tout le monde!
Soo good! Must order: cheese soufflé & duck pie! 10/10 & great staff!
Great food and service
Very nice servers. We got the charcuterie which was excellent. The filet was also tender

Claire’s Kitchen at Le Salon
A star of the kitchen as well as the stage, former TV chef Marc Kuzma (aka Claire de Lune) lets his talents shine at his Darlinghurst venture, Claire’s Kitchen at Le Salon. Step through the doors from Oxford Street, and enter a world of glamour, decadence and French chic. Soaring ceilings, imported wallpapers, glittering chandeliers, white linen, black Louis XV chairs and French antiques will make you feel like you’re world’s away from the chaos of the bustling street outside. Oh oui, nous aimons que….(we love that!). Charming French waiters warmly welcome patrons at Claire’ and the brasserie classics with contemporary touches are done with true French finesse. The double baked three cheese soufflé or blue eye trevalla fillet served with crab bisque and spinach dumpling should be ordered immediately upon arrival and you should seriously consider finishing with something sweet from the dessert trolley followed by a fine French wine or Claire de Lune cocktail in the mezzanine bar. It’s French chic at its best.
Best dish: double baked three cheese soufflé
