The food was generally very good, but totally spoiled by the extremely slow service and by the expensive and disgracefully substandard "Beetroot Salad", which consisted of a few minute pieces of beetroot with a smattering of cheese arranged on a plate by a talented artist in a decorative manner.

My partner and I dined here for Valentine's Day and we loved it. The food was amazing, the atmosphere is intimate and refined without being pretentious. The host is very charming and the staff are very professional. Will definitely be back.

Always love coming here. Authentic French staff, atmosphere, service and food.

The staff was wonderful coping with my party's disabled needs. Only issue: oversized plates are unwelcome as they take too much table space.

A very pleasant dining experience: a lovely ambience, good food, attentive & helpful staff and a venue that we could have a conversation across the table without yelling - a rare bonus in Sydney restaurants! Thank you!

Second time here. Still good. My choice of dises were not as good as last time, but that is my bad. Will come back and try other dishes next time.

About Claire's Kitchen at Le Salon

Claire’s Kitchen at Le Salon A star of the kitchen as well as the stage, former TV chef Marc Kuzma (aka Claire de Lune) lets his talents shine at his Darlinghurst venture, Claire’s Kitchen at Le Salon. Step through the doors from Oxford Street, and enter a world of glamour, decadence and French chic. Soaring ceilings, imported wallpapers, glittering chandeliers, white linen, black Louis XV chairs and French antiques will make you feel like you’re world’s away from the chaos of the bustling street outside. Oh oui, nous aimons que….(we love that!). Charming French waiters warmly welcome patrons at Claire’ and the brasserie classics with contemporary touches are done with true French finesse. The double baked three cheese soufflé or blue eye trevalla fillet served with crab bisque and spinach dumpling should be ordered immediately upon arrival and you should seriously consider finishing with something sweet from the dessert trolley followed by a fine French wine or Claire de Lune cocktail in the mezzanine bar. It’s French chic at its best. Best dish: double baked three cheese soufflé
