This is our local traditional pub which is glorious, where you can sit and have a wonderful meal and drink in fabulous surroundings. I thoroughly recommend the Clarenden Arms, it is Must Go To.. the staff are amazing as well as the food. Thank you guys x

Very nicely refurbished English style pub with excellent service and a varied and reasonably priced menu.

Love the look of the fit out and the open fire is gorgeous. Lights were a bit bright for evening. The service could have been a lot friendlier and efficient. The food was stodgy and average for the price. We would go again for the atmosphere rather than food and service, perhaps just for drinks - as a couple, family or with friends.

I am a local and feel very pleased having the Clarendon Arms in Evandale. Yesterday was Mother's Day so it was frantic which was understandable.. One of the regular attendants (waitress) was there to greet us which was wonderful and as always gives us a great smile. wonderful service etc but she was busy dealing with many of the customers... New staff I have to say are not the best, unsmiling, service wasnt the best from them at all and they could barely open their mouths to say goodbye (not busy by then) after she had taken my payment. I realise that this was a very busy day but hoping that the Clardendon can revert back to giving the good personal helpful and smiling service we go there for!... to the Chefs... great food!

The ambience and service is always great but the food is very overpriced. A simple fare of Sunday roast and trimmings would be fantastic and would suit the space.

Beautiful decor and service. It did not bother us that drinks were late in coming and as a consequence of this we were not charged.

About Clarendon Arms

The Clarendon is a beautiful cosy bar that's perfect for a few cosy quiet ones and a delicious family meal. The decor is old school and extremely comfortable, emanating distinct English pub vibes throughout. The menu is crafted from local produce, offering a number of traditional pub style dishes, think large roasts, pies, rich soups and beautiful burgers. Don't forget to save room for the traditional bread and butter pudding with butterscotch sauce! There's also a great selection of beers on tap and a good wine list too. Best dish: Aged Tasmanian Porterhouse steak with fat chips and Clarendon Arms pepper corn jus
