Food very under par. Pork Belly undercooked - soft and fatty, chicken cacciatore very cheesy (not heard of cheese & cacciatore!) The Moroccan lamb was nice but minimal. Atmosphere nice with open fire.

I love the atmosphere, very cosy on a winters day. I adore the interior decorating and theme of rustic/country with sophistication.

Went there for lunch one day and the lunch menu was far better than the night menu. Did not like the wine you serve by the glass and the dinning area was a bit cold.

Very historic pub which depicts the local history extremely well. Large open fires - very inviting! Lyndal is a great host. Because of all the pluses I have made it a point to take several interstate and out-of-region people to this establishment.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to dine at Clarendon Arms, food was delicious, service great and the open fire was an added bonus on a cold winter day.

About Clarendon Arms

The Clarendon is a beautiful cosy bar that's perfect for a few cosy quiet ones and a delicious family meal. The decor is old school and extremely comfortable, emanating distinct English pub vibes throughout. The menu is crafted from local produce, offering a number of traditional pub style dishes, think large roasts, pies, rich soups and beautiful burgers. Don't forget to save room for the traditional bread and butter pudding with butterscotch sauce! There's also a great selection of beers on tap and a good wine list too. Best dish: Aged Tasmanian Porterhouse steak with fat chips and Clarendon Arms pepper corn jus
