This is our local traditional pub which is glorious, where you can sit and have a wonderful meal and drink in fabulous surroundings. I thoroughly recommend the Clarenden Arms, it is Must Go To.. the staff are amazing as well as the food. Thank you guys x

A little over priced for what it is... but great vibe on a Sunday afternoon after the local markets and great if you have kids!

Nice oldy worldly place

3 of the 4 of us enjoyed our meal. Unfortunately, the fish and chips were soggy - frying oil not hot enough. It may have been because the restaurant was very busy, and understaffed. The few staff on did well, but were obviously stressed, which made the atmosphere less relaxing. Otherwise we had an enjoyable meal.

Fabulous food and atmosphere. Golly I wish this was our "local" I am dairy free and the chef was so kind to create the most delicious fruit platter so I could enjoy dessert. The kids menu items were great and the vanilla ice cream that was served to them was proper vanilla bean ice cream. Both inside and out door spaces were beautiful. A wonderful last night on our Tasmanian holiday. This pub and this village were wonderful

About Clarendon Arms

The Clarendon is a beautiful cosy bar that's perfect for a few cosy quiet ones and a delicious family meal. The decor is old school and extremely comfortable, emanating distinct English pub vibes throughout. The menu is crafted from local produce, offering a number of traditional pub style dishes, think large roasts, pies, rich soups and beautiful burgers. Don't forget to save room for the traditional bread and butter pudding with butterscotch sauce! There's also a great selection of beers on tap and a good wine list too. Best dish: Aged Tasmanian Porterhouse steak with fat chips and Clarendon Arms pepper corn jus
