Really nice banquet (set A) with plenty of food to feed 8 hungry people at a Father’s Day lunch.

Restaurant is a little expensive, but food was quite good, especially the Tempura Prawn entrées. The curries we chose for mains were also good

After booking for Saturday lunch on line, a couple of days later I received a call saying they wouldn’t be opening on Saturday and would I like to make a booking for another day. Hardly convenient when I was trying to book for Saturday lunch.

Wine list was limited on the day, but was told it was being revamped. Food was very good for a modest price.

Entrees are great. The steamed barramundi main is a bit over cooked. Rice servings could be bigger.

I ordered a second glass of wine which did not arrive so I waited 6 to 7 minutes and ordered again. There were only 15 customers in the place. The coconut prawns were bland/tasteless.

About the restaurant

Waterfront Thai

For a simply delicious and quick Thai lunch by the waterfront, pay a visit to CocoNine. Sit outside near the heater on a chilly day. The tables stretch out onto the pavement, with beach umbrellas and fake grass creating a tropical feels.

The menu has hundreds (slightly exaggerating here) of options to satisfy any mood. From the standard chicken Pad Thai to the furious tilapia which is a beautiful whole poached fish (decide yourself how spicy you can go). The conclusion: you’ll have an enjoyable time with cheerful and friendly staff enhancing your experience.

Best dish: Roasted duck curry.
