Excellent
Fabulous food and one of the wait staff was so attentive and knowledgeable! The fork discount that was offered was excellent I will go back again.
Some dishes were great, like the crab roll, brussels sprouts, salt and pepper cauliflower. The flavour in the ocean trout noodles was good but the fish was overcooked. Dessert was more of a miss (we ordered the pandan bread and butter pudding and chocolate mousse). Even with the fork discount we thought the menu was pricey.
Stunning from the outside, the restaurant's large windows amply showcase the lovely lighting and greenery, giving a hint of the mood. Inside, the ambience is letdown somewhat by the music, which is a bit too loud and too clubby for an early evening 7pm dinner start. The menu looks intriguing, and my dining partner I had high hopes for an inspired mean, however it was just okay -- too fatty and too much deep-fried for my taste. The service was sporadic at best, absent at worst, and uninterested most times. Drink orders were taken promptly and enthusiastically, but then we had to wait 15 or 20 minutes for them to be delivered on a lightly crowded night. The tables are small, and as a result, I clumsily knocked over a martini in reaching for a share plate. The glass was picked up quickly, but no one wiped the table, checked on us, or anything. I used my napkin to wipe the table and it sat there in a wet heap next to my plate. Even when a replacement, newly-ordered glass of wine was brought to the table 20 minutes later, along with another previously ordered share plate, the wet napkin wasn't picked up and a replacement wasn't provided. I had to call a waiter over to collect it and give me another one, and he looked a bit put out by my request. As other patrons left and two table were left, ours and another, one waiter went over to join that table. We were left there sitting for ten minutes, dinner finished and glasses of wine drunk, when I suggested to my dining guest we go get a drink elsewhere. Having just returned from Switzerland, where she worked in the hospitality sector, she agreed and said she was amazed how lax the service was, missing an opportunity to promote their desserts or to encourage us to have another drink. Indeed, they just seemed uninterested, which is a shame given that restaurants need customers to return during this quasi post-pandemic period.
Amazing food and drinks. Love the pace
My fav was the waiter .
We were delighted withe the delicious food, service and atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place.
Lovely vibe in a busy area. Bit loud but great typical brunch menu.
Have been here a few times now and absolutely love their food and service! Love the tuna tartare, ocean trout and brussel sprouts dishes!
Great food to share. The dips with Afghan bread were fantastic, as was the cauliflower dish. More vegetarian options would be nice. Interesting drinks menu. Loved the spritzes.
Love it's creative dishes and professional services
Food was great will definitely go back
Food was better than expected
The food was lovely and our waitress was very warm and welcoming! We enjoyed trying all the different foods and cocktails. Not to mention the decor was ????
Lovely vibe, music was a bit loud for convos but food was delightful (crab roll is a must!), plus very cool and creative cocktails that tasted as good as they looked. Service was friendly, great place!
We will definitely come back and try more of the menu and love the space in this cafe.
A very stylish, contemporary restaurant with well designed decor, friendly and attentive staff and really good, fresh, delicious and well presented cuisine. It was a very rainy night and lovely to watch the rain through the large floor to ceiling glass. I’d imagine it would also be delightful on a bright sunny day. The ambience could have been improved with mellow music rather that pounding beats. All the same, I’ll be back for sure.
2nd time being here because of excellent food, however it was so hot inside the place and tables are very close to each other.
Interesting menu. Amazing food with impressive plating. The cafe need to install aircon or a fan coz my friends and I were sweating.
Very spacious cafe/restaurant with quirky menu
Very small portion for the premium price, however if you’re only up for a good vibe/ drink this is then the right place.
