An old favourite. My 'go to' place for a good steak. Stratos is always there to cheerfully greet and show us to our table. The steaks were cooked to our liking. The service was prompt but not intrusive.

About Cork and Cleaver

Fabulous for meat lovers The Cork and Cleaver is proudly in its 38th year in Adelaide, and boasts that it may just have one of the finest steaks in Australia. The comfortable and homely décor allows you to really settle in for your meal, and be well looked after by the staff, who you may well meet each time you return as there are those who have been around for quite a while; always a sign of a good place to work and be. An extensive wine list and flexible choice of menus meant that this is one of the most hospitable and easy places to host a work or business function in one of their four exclusive spaces. Proximity to the CBD means it is accessible for locals and international guests. Winners of many state and national awards, this venue has a comfortable bar area for your pre dinner drinks, a grill menu showcasing not only the typical steaks but many more delicious dishes such as lamb, New England chicken and whatever fish may be on offer for the day. Share a delicious Chateau Briand if you want to spoil yourselves and know that you are in a place that so many before have loved and held dear. Best dish: Aged Scotch Fillet
