At 12 O'clock we beat the lunchtime rush & was able to be served our meal quickly which suited us as we were going to a Matinee performance in Chinatown. Food was great & so was the service. Thanks,

This wonderful find has been my go to meeting place with family and friends for years. Sadly the service is not as good as it used to be due to understaffing. I would love to see a few extra staff during busy times to raise to easily rate a perfect score of 10.

We had the cheese fondue it was delicious but I find it to be pricey as it was not enough to be shared between 2 adults and quantity was small. Otherwise all good.

Would have preferred to have more hot variety. The quiche was under cooked and bland

We arrived and were told they did not have a booking for us because they don’t take bookings. We were directed to another restaurant jpb and were told our booking must be there. So we are there.

Since I discovered the Crossroads Bar a couple of years ago I have enjoyed it particularly because it provides a quiet pleasant environment in which conversation is easy. I was disappointed yesterday that, for the first time, there was background music playing - essentially inaudible, so not contributing to ambience in any way - but with a heavy bass beat that did interfere with conversation and general enjoyment. Whosever idea it was, it was a bad one!
