Fabulous
Really solid and classic Indian food in a quaint basement setting. They're not doing anything particularly avant-garde but if you want quality Indian food in the city, it's worth a look.
They just add chilli sauce and make good spicy. No flavor to food.
Great food, waitress was kind and quick with the service, everything was great!
Naan was good. So were the gravy for the dishes. But tandoori "king prawn" were regular sized prawn, and the meat in both lamb korma and beef Madras were dry with a grainy texture.
Food was stunning!!
After a long search for the tastiest, hottest curry in Melbourne, we have found it! No need to go anywhere else now. Simply and reliably great! Every time.
Great food, really tasty. A gem in Melbourne city centre
The staff were so friendly and the food was superb, was such great value for money and I would definitely recommend to others, especially the MoMos!
Good food unfortunately the staff was very busy during the evening and we felt it
Delicious flavours. Quite pricey without the discount but enjoyed every bite .
The curry vault is always good value for excellent Indian food. The menu has something for everyone, and all levels of spiciness as well. And they always have the goat curry, which is my favourite!
We had a very enjoyable lunch at Curry Vault. Excellent samosas, and tasty tandoori chicken and lamb cutlets, followed by prawns in coconut sauce. Great value with the Fork discount.
Food was good and service was good. Recommend to try this place. Price is high but the food is worth it.
Veg momos are Delicious , Dal makhani and Butter nans are not up to the standard. Staff is very welcoming, Ambience is ok. Needs more variety in Paneer dishes. Overall it was ok experience not as I expected.
Great service, great recommendation from staffs. Good food
The food quality is pretty good, pleasantly surprised. The serving was a bit small.
Tucked away in Bank Place, well worth the visit. Tasty dishes, reasonable prices and not too noisy to enjoy your conversation. Great range of vegetarian options, too!
The ambiance was good. The staff was awesome. But the quality of food was average. I am not sure if I would pay full price for the food. But extra points goes to staff and service who were courteous with a smile on their face
Consistently good wholesome food. Friendly and efficient service. A nice relaxed atmosphere. Decent list of wines which are particularly good value. Took a birthday cake which was accepted with non fuss and presented so well. Would recommend highly.
Great and welcoming staff. The food is good but a little too oily for my taste. The location in an old vault basement is really nice, though number of tables are limited.
