Really good food is let down by poor service and a very minimal wine list. The room and atmosphere is nice but the service was basic at best. After being asked to confirm the booking twice during the day (which I did), we turned up to no booking and were basically ignored at the doorway. I was amazed that a restaurant that is aimed at fine diners only had 3 chardonnays on the wine list! The food was good but we wont be going back :(

Service was pretty bad, considering there was about 10 people in the restaurant. The Fork also informed us that we had to be there by 6:30 and out by 8:30 - the restaurant was practically a ghost town

Special event for Bottomless Dumplings didn't include enough information. Wasn't happy that we were mostly given deep fried dumplings rather than a variety of steamed

Unfortunately very disappointed with service & food was average. Had gone for Fathers Day breakfast so hoping for it to be special however far from it. Will not be returning .

Beautiful restaurant. However, that’s about the only good point. Went for breakfast and service was very disappointing. After failing to get the attention of waitstaff (on a very quiet morning) and a long wait, we ultimately had to go up to the counter where two staff stood talking and appeared taken aback that we even approached them. No follow up to see how meals were or if there was anything else needed. They appeared to be avoiding customers by staying in the bar area.

Was really noisy - hard to have conversation with others at my table. Food was really good and a great price! Staff were polite but once we ordered meals/drinks and it arrived we were forgotten about - no coming back to check how we were or ask if we wanted more drinks - we had to ask. Second round of drinks took awhile and no offer bout dessert/coffee.

About the restaurant

What a darling!

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner this little neighbourhood locale is such a little darling. Perfect for a midweek meal or for a special occasion we love Darling & Co’s diversity. Head chef Giuliano Melluso knows how to work his magic in the kitchen with the menu dipping into Asian, European and American cuisine. Starters such as Sunshine Coast yellowfin tuna tacos, banh mi pork belly sliders and Noosa spanner crab with watermelon, betel leaf, hibiscus and lemon are sure to impress. Each dish on the menu is a labour of love - and you can tell. You’ll never be lost in finding something to tickle your senses, one bite at a time.

Best dish: chorizo & manchego croquettes with red pepper aioli
