Peter Reschke

Peter began his cooking career in 1976 as an apprentice chef working in some of Adelaide’s top restaurants of the time. He spent the early 80’s broadening his horizons working both interstate and overseas before returning home and becoming a forerunner in South Australia’s food culture. Taking the helm at d’Arry’s Verandah in 2004, Peter’s strong belief in the local and seasonal produce of the Fleurieu Peninsular along with his taste for global cuisines has seen the restaurant reach icon status.

Love the service, food and atmosphere of d'Arry's verandah. Been coming for 4 years and love how the standards do not diminish no matter how busy they are.

Always a treat to go back to d’Arry’s. Restaurant was rather busy when we arrived for a late sitting, which means it can be a bit noisy given the setup but with a tables clearing as our food was served it was pleasant as always. Food was stunning, high quality ingredients, although both our mains could have been a bit warmer.

The degustation with wine pairing was worth every cent. First time in a long time we were able to sit down and completely relax for over 2 hours with nothing to do except wait for the next course of food and wine to arrive. Absolutely fantastic. Thanks.

Absolutely amazing experience! I would highly recommend d’Arry’s Verandah to anyone visiting the cube! We did a wine tasting in the cube before our degustation too! Great experience!
