Food was nice. The portion of the beef ragu papardelle was a bit small. Service was good.

We came here on the 30% off deal. It's very busy for dinner, the atmosphere is fine though it can get a little noisy. Still despite being busy it is quite comfortable. What we felt was lacking this time was the service. We have been here before when it was extra busy but we felt that other time the staff still made us feel like they were putting in that extra effort to get to us and make us feel looked after, even if sometimes things had to be a little delayed because it was so busy. This time we just felt more neglected. The entrees here are the stand out. Octopus and chicken liver pate. I could have just had these two dishes and been happy. That chicken liver pate is a really wonderful serve for an entree and so good tasting. It's my favourite dish. The octopus is delicious. After that my partner had the risotto and I had the pappardelle ragu. My partner thought his risotto was fine but a bit on the salty side. My pappardelle was quite tasty, very rich and heavy though and I couldn't finish it. Maybe it would suit someone else more and you certainly coudln't complain that you didn't feel nicely filled up or they didn't give you plenty of meat - they did - but I think I would have preferred it a little on the lighter side. There was no room for dessert, we were absolutely stuffed! It was a good meal but I think the service needed a bit more attention.
