Appreciated that we were not rushed. Waiter very knowledgeable about wine. He brought quite a few samples to make sure we were satisfied with our choice. Pasta with crab was tasteless but had chile which made it too spicy for my taste. Connoli (?) were crisp. Filling nice and smooth but too much orange zest. Lovely place.

Just what eating out should be about - Great food and wine with no big fuss - just attentive staff. Well done De Vine you have the balance just right!
Thank you Stephen for acknowledging our objectives here! We can't wait to have you back.

This place does not look like much from the outside but hides a very impressive restaurant out the back of the bar area. We came when it seemed very busy so the service was a little slow but the waiters were absolutely run off their feet and were doing a great job handling such a crowd. They do look after you even though they cannot linger at such a time. We ordered the pate and the zucchini flowers for entree then for main I had the mussels with risoni and my partner had the crab tagliatelle. The entrees were great, very generous as usual (the octopus and kangaroo tartare are also really special). I really enjoyed my mussels with risoni, and my partner found the same with his tagliatelle but the entrees were the stand-out. For dessert we shared a pannacotta. It was not at all what I expected - in a good way. This was a large heap of pannacotta with sorbet and plenty of crumbly stuff (biscuit) on the side so there was plenty of flavour and texture in each scoop rather than a plain, bland pannacotta. It is very much recommended.

Food tasted great, but portions were disappointing for the price. Service was slow and below average. Extensive wine list is a bonus.
